With a population of 14,301 as of July 1, 2016, it is the largest commercial center between Grand Forks, North Dakota and Duluth, Minnesota. Bemidji houses many Native American services, including the Indian Health Service. The city is the central hub of the Red Lake Indian Reservation, White Earth Indian Reservation and the Leech Lake Indian Reservation. Bemidji lies on the south west shore of Lake Bemidji, the northernmost lake feeding the Mississippi River and as such is deemed "The First City On The Mississippi." Bemidji is also the self proclaimed "curling capital" of the U.S. and birth place of Paul Bunyan

Ate on Saturday 13 July. Pizza is a great value and tastes very good. Deep dish pizza is as good as it gets. Bread stick were flat. Looked like crushed breadsticks. Combo meal with soda, breadsticks and deep dish feeds 4 comfortably.

We vacation every summer near Bemidji. As a family, we enjoy eating at places other then well known restaurants. The Other Place was s great stop. Although it is definitely a local hangout, the staff and patrons were very friendly. Kelsey, who was the bartender while we were there, was so friendly and welcoming. You don't always get that at local bars. We will definitely stop by next summer!

There is a fairly new pizza joint open in Turtle River that we recently found. Itâs Jakeâs Pizza. We drive across town now to go there. Their crust is super and thin!! Homemade sausage and fresh ingredients that make your mouth water! There is nothing like it in our area! Go there fast because itâs so good donât want them to run out!! And oh the family-owned business deserves our support. Great people and great pizza.

This just might be the best pizza we've ever had. Loaded with high quality toppings, seasoned with fresh herbs and olive oil, and cooked to perfection, I can't imagine anything better. The staff was excellent, even when dealing with the rude and demanding party at the next table.

We were in Bemidji last week for a cycling trip on the Paul Bunyan Trail. Given that it was Sunday night, we found that all of the decent restaurants were closed. Very disappointing! We ended up at Giovanni's Pizza, which was a very standard "strip mall" pizza and salad buffet. The food was nothing special, although the dessert pizza was quite good. Good beers, though.

We have RVed for more than 30 years and have eaten a lot of pizza in a lot of places! This trip we were traveling The Great River Road and folks at our campground recommended Keithâs and the Parmesan/ Parmigiano crust pizza. The menu of specialty pizzas is impressive with international combinations and local food favorites but it is the crusts that are just perfection, PERFECTION. The service was great and after five minutes of our raving about the pizza, our server went back and brought out the owner (it was 3 p.m. and they werenât crowded.) He told us the story of his pizzeria (his grandfather started it) and even the secret to that special crust (which I wonât share here â but you can bet Iâm telling our children when we get home! YOU BETCHA! Doncha know! Alright now! ) The best pizza I've ever had was at a family owned pizzeria in Minnesota....who'da thought it?

Stopped at Daveâs for takeout. Ordered a thin crust sausage and cheese sticks around 7:15 pm. Place was pretty busy with pickups and in house eaters.Couple of observations, only room for two to sit and wait for your order and it is tight for people to get around you. They sell t-shirts for little people with the largest size being xxl in one style (for ladies) the rest are primarily m-l.Order was ready at 7:35 pm. I paid in advance, so out the door.Pizza was very good with a pretty good dose of cheese which was fairly greasy , thin crust was crispy good. Cheese sticks were very good too.

We ate out tonight with friends at the Green Mill .,, The company was great of course... and Nick, our server was fantastic! I had Chicken Marsala and it was great! I would highly recommend it!
