We had a pizza and a chicken salad. The salad was really good. The pizza was awesome!!! The black olives were a Mediterranean style so they had more flavor. The crust was soft and tasty. The sauce and cheese was excellent. Overall an excellent place for pizza. They had a plenty of premade pies if you just want a slice.

If you've read any of my past reviews, we've lived in Sayville for over 25 years. I've seen good restaurants not last and scratch my head..why?. I've also seen some continue for all that time and still scratch my head and say ...why?. Sayville Pizza falls between those cracks. They are not the worst, in a pinch they are always a phone call away for a quick pizza/calzone/parmagina fix, but that being said there are better choices. They have lived under the stigma of 'rumors' (unfounded or not...this town always loves gossip), but they shoulder on and we all still will go there in a pinch.

When in Patchogue always looking for a great hoagie. Tried the Italian at Delfiore and it was very, very, good - loaded with lots of meats and cheese and the bread was very fresh. They didn't have a Caprese hoagie on their menu but I described what I wanted and they created it for me. I wish I knew the name of the young man that helped me (tall muscular fair and light-haired very friendly) but the owner wad there and he was just as charming as he could be. He make a mean fresh buffalo mozzarella. We'll be back when we're in Patchogue again.
Blessed on the South Shore with excellent choices of pizza. Friends had us over the other night for a Grandma's, Deep Dish Sausage/Broccoli Rabe and some pinwheels. Loved them all - especially the Sausage/Broccoli Rabe, which does not contain a red sauce, ordered a pie for ourselves two days later. Dine in or take out. Excellent recommendation. Ironically located adjacent to an excellent health food/organic market.

We tried this restaurant as someplace different then our usual eateries. The reviews were good and the menu on their web site looked amazing and now having eaten there can honestly say both were correct. The night we were there the place was jammed packed (reservations are highly recommended) so our waiter was a bit overwhelmed and that was the only neg. of our experience. Even with the crowd and our waiter a little slow getting to us and checking in once and a while (like forgetting our bread, slow getting our drinks, not checking to see if we needed anything, etc...) all was mostly forgiven once our food arrived. I had the baked lasagna and growing up an Italian NY'er I know my pasta's and what's good and what's not. This lasagna was among the best I've had (not as good as my nonnina's though). And everyone we dined with that night raved about each of their dishes. The prices were not cheap, but not over the top either. The atmosphere had a sort of a clean, industrial type feel. The soft lighting helped, but the noise level all around us was high. I gave it 4 stars for the reasons mentioned above: very, very crowded, waiter was overwhelmed and we had to keep flagging him down for service and a little too noisy for me, but oh the food, the food was amazing and would rate 5 stars. Perhaps a slower night or different time slot for our visit and it would have received an overall 5 stars, maybe(?). For me, when I write a review and score it's rating, for a place to earn 5 stars ALL the elements must be worthy of 5 stars. I do however recommend trying this restaurant and because the menu had so many tantalizing, appealing options leaving me wanting to taste and what we did have was that good I know we'll be going back.

Tony's is our go-to Friday night pizza place. The owner, Benny, and his family run the restaurant and they are Italian immigrants, so they learned pizza the old-school way. Their menu is standard Italian classics, nothing fancy or trendy, just reliable, full-flavored food. Their dinners come with a side of pasta or salad, their antipasta salad is delicious. You won't find any surprises here, but the food is always good and the service is small-town friendly.

Enjoyed a freshly made calzone and slice of Sicilian pie. My husband enjoyed his buffalo chicken slices. Plenty of toppings on slice.

Perpetually under construction but always great pizza. A wide selection but I believe the best is the Penne ala Vodka slice. Can be packed with families with kids on school vacation days
