At Pizza Hut Restaurants, freedom is our attitude. Our state of mind. It's being able to do your thing. It's about our famous Lunchtime Buffet, Ice Cream Factory and free Salad Bar. Days out with the kids and nights in on the sofa (we offer collection at
Went to Pizza Hut for a rare treat and expected to get the normal deal £9.99 for any size pizza. Not at Basildon apparently, they do different dealsI ended up getting an Individual and a side, which did not even touch the sides. The Cheesy chips were ok, but hardly any cheese, but the pizza was terrible and rubbery.Pan pizza I don't think so, it was thin, and dried out, which felt like eating 2 day old pizza.I will NEVER return to this Basildon Branch again, it was shockingly bad

We visited this restaurant that has recently opened in Rayleigh High Street. They were buzzing and virtually fully booked but managed to get us a table on the day.Lunch time was also busy. Nice menu with 2 courses for £13.95 and 3 courses for about £18.95.I opted for the garlic bread with caramelised onion, delicious and the size of a small pizza ! My partner chose from the Main menu and had prawns that he said were lovely. He chose the fillet steak that was cooked to perfection. My chicken salad with pesto dressing was also very good. The staff were friendly. We did wait a while to get a first drink but they were very busy. It is quite noisy but a good atmosphere. There are tables upstairs also but I didnât get to see them. I would recommend this restaurant and wish them good luck.

I have never been here before either in its current guise or when it was the Ancorra but visited this evening with friends. All I can say is that I have missed out massively having lived locally for over 20 years. The menu has significant and varied choice with plenty to suit any palate. I opted for the grilled chicken breast with prawns in a light mustard sauce, which came with vegetables. The chicken was lovely with the sauce not being overpowering and the vegetables cooked fresh and, a rarity for nowadays, silver served. The meal was lovely. For dessert I opted for Bread and Butter pudding and again it was superb. My wife had a garlic pizza bread for starters which was huge and I gladly assisted her in demolishing it. For main course she opted for lasagne which she felt was a little too salty although when I tried some I found it full of flavour. Our friends meals looked lovely and they were also very complimentary. What enhanced the experience for me however was the service which was just spot on. Everyone was so friendly without being over the top, and everything was prompt without being rushed. The atmosphere inside also was very good with light music in the background but not at a level to drown the conversation. The bill too was very fair, working out at around £35 per head for 3 courses and a drink each. In an area heaving with decent eateries we now have another that will see our custom.

Bella Italia have over 100 Italian restaurants across the UK serving pizza, pasta, Italian classics and more, made with ingredients from Italian-family producers.
Chose this restaurant as it was close to cinema. Great service, staff friendly, chose the pasta dish with chicken and meatballs, hot, tasty and plentiful.Great menu selection.

Bright and modern, PizzaExpress Basildon (Festival Leisure Park) offers an exciting reinvention of Italian classics. A vibrant menu includes wholesome Romana-style pizzas with adventurous topping combinations, as well as fresh salads, an impressive range
Myself and my friend often meet here for a catch up and have always had good service.Today unfortunately was a different matter. Our waitress wasnât particularly engaging and it seemed everything was too much effort. The cleanliness of the restaurant lead a lot to be desired with dirty streaked glasses, which my friend had to change. The wine glasses on an adjoining table looked like they needed a good polish too. There was also food debris and dead insects around the window sills. My Tuna Nicoise wasnât particularly well presented looking like it has been thrown together - pieces of large cucumber which obviously hadnât been chopped and a mass of anchovies all stuck together and way too much dressing. It was tasty but presentation was poor especially knowing how it should look. What got me the most was the attitude of another waitress (Blonde Eastern European wearing a McMillan t-shirt). We asked her for the bill and when she brought it over we completely forgot to give our voucher code. She almost stormed off, came back with the revised bill and stood there saying absolutely nothing while we were sorting the bill out (part card/cash). We paid and not a thank you or anything. Never once did I see her smile. As we left, she was waiting by the exit and completely ignored us. We almost felt we had done something wrong.Weâve never had any problems before and the waitresses have always been friendly and engaging. Think it may be a while before we return

Our menu includes a wide range of stone-baked pizzas, authentic Italian pastas and risottos, a selection of grill dishes and fresh salads, all served in a warm and family friendly environment.
After checking into our hotel we went to this place for late lunch. We had read the good reviews so we thought weâd give it a try. We werenât disappointed. We received a friendly welcome and attentive service. We had two aperol spritz cocktails whilst looking at the menu. We ordered two mains of penne with nduja sausage which we both agreed was delicious. This was one of the best pasta dishes we had eaten. We had a good bottle of merlot red wine too. We finished our meals with expressos and limoncello. We really enjoyed our experience at this lovely Italian restaurant.
