Had sfincione here for lunch today. Very reasonably priced and the staff were very friendly (had an excellent level of English too!). The food was delicious.

This restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor dinning. If possible, eat outdoors. The restaurant is located at the mouth of Balestrate's Main Street. The food was not bad. The menus offers pizza, meats and lots of seafood. I was disappointed with the service. Once our food was delivered, the wait staff forgot about us. I understand it is Sicily, however, this was probably the longest wait time we ever experienced. The view was nice and it's a great location to people watch.

Mercury Pub might have a misleading name: it's not really a pub, but it's a pizzeria with excellent choice of wines and beer. The pizza's are well made, using excellent local ingredients and very tasty.They also have a very good "apperitivo", basically around 7 p.m. you can have a drink with a plate of cold cuts, cheese and local finger food, for a very good price.The location is great, in Balestrate's heart aka main square.

We’ve been a couple of times in Sicily and Balestrate.In this local family restaurant we had one of the best pizza. This wonderful crispy pizza was so good we went back for more!The restaurant is simple and loved by locals, prices are below average and you get you food pretty fast.

Stefano the owner made us very welcome here. Food good. We had seafood pasta, pizzas etc and it was all very good. Not open for lunch but the best places seemed not to open then in Balestrate ? The pizzas were 5 or 6 euros and proper wood fired ones, very good value.

What wonderful time to be have at this off the beat and track pizzeria! Bruschetta with fresh tomatoes very good! Also a large number of pizza topping! Are waitress was superb and made feel at home.

The dining area is functional, with plastic chairs and slightly faded decor but this place is really charming. the staff are friendly and the food is excellent! All our pizzas were really good and at a very reasonable price. The wine was fine as was the soft drinks. I loved eating here.

my husband and I had a pizza each here (I had to tak half home as it was so large). Fantastic selection, innovative Sicilian speciality pizzae and a nice busy team.Lovely evening sitting on the sidewalk with pizza and beer, watching people, Highly recommended! and they do deliver!

We have been coming to this family-run restaurant for years on our last night before flying home. The first time, it was late and not much was open but the owner welcomed us in as the only guests and served us two fish that were fresh, fresh, fresh. Since then we always come back. Normally, we have the fish but this time we decided to have pizza. It was the best pizza I had in the three weeks we were in Sicily and that is saying a lot! The crust was tender and thin with a good chew and the toppings were excellent.The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of 5 is because name implies it is a lounge as well. We had stopped in earlier in the evening for a pre-dinner drink only to find they had nothing beyond beer, wine, lemoncello and amaro. No cocktails. So we returned later for a great dinner.Thanks for the review and the next. We're gearing up for the bar so he can give us five as judgment
