After a very long day touring the beautiful Swiss countryside, we stopped in Murten and found a wonderful place to eat that was within easy walking distance of our Hotel Murtenhof & Krone. The food and service was great! We tried their spaghetti and a very nice house red wine.

At dinner time (7ish) the place was packed, like most of the other restaurants. The waiters even though they were running around like headless chickens were nice and friendly. But they either have too many tables or are seriously understaffed in the kitchen. We had to wait 30-40 minutes for our order (one starter, a pizza, and chicken nuggets with fries for the kids), which I consider long. I understand the "need" for maximizing profit but this goes at the expense of quality (speed in this case).The food was good and the pizza has a nice thin crust. So if you don't mind the waiting in rush hour then worth a try.

This is a pretty decent Pizza and Pasta restaurant in the pretty town/city of Murten.The food is good and the service acceptable.I was with family including grandchildren, who love the place. Price is right but I feel really cheated when I pay chf 9 50 for a bottle of water. In the same town I can buy a bottle of water for 30 cents or less.

On a cold and rainy Sunday night we found this cozy trattoria very inviting. The insalata mista was dressed to perfection and the pizza just perfect. If you love wood fired thin crust pizza served hot with perfectly balanced toppings you will love this Taverna. On a nice day dining on the deck would be quiet and as if you were part of a picture postcard - so very marvelously Murten!

There were not many restaurants open late in the evening of a weekday. But the pizzeria was opened and almost full. The decoration and general atmosphere is pretty simple, without pretention. But the wall of italian movie stars is nice. The list of pizza offered is great, with half being the classics, and the other half being 10-15 original combinations. The pizza was excellent and quite big (especially with a lot of rucola on top in the one I choose). I was quite full! The service was friendly and good. Definitely a place I would return on my next visit to Payerne.Thank you see you soon ;o)

We had dinner at this restaurant on the advice of the hotel. We do not regret listening to the recommendation. I had a very nice tournedos with an excellent sauce, very well prepared with handmade pommes and grilled vegetables. My son had steak tartare which was very tasty. Sitting outside on the terrace at this beautiful old street in Murten was a joy. The services was excellent. This is by far one of the best wood fired pizza places in the region. Fresh tasty ingredients, a chef that cares about his offering combined with staff that take care in ensuring guests are catered for correctly and their dining experience is a pleasant make for a pizza experience that begs to be repeated. We visit at least once a month! 1 word - Tasty!

This pizzeria seems new and serves only pizza's, I belief there was 1 pasta dish and for the rest nothing. The pizzas were nothing special. The restaurant lacks any atmosphere. Waitress was friendly, decent coffee.
