I really like this small casual restaurant. They have some good vegetarian options for my daughter with large portions. I eat meat and I love the steak and cheese sandwiches and the pizza. Absolutely the best homemade hummis around!!! They take orders over the phone and it is easy to drop by and scoop it up!

My daughter wanted pizza. We were out running errands and near Little Caesars in Annandale, so we went inside. They were having a special on pretzel crust pizza. She ordered the pepperoni and cheese with pretzel crust. WOW! The pretzel crust was super good, as well as the pizza. It had lots of pepperoni and sauce on it. We don't live anywhere near this pizza place--it's probably a good thing! If you're in the area try the pretzel crust pizza. It's a treat!

Went there for happy hour. The drinks were good, the food was "just okay" and the service was practically non-existent. Worse, they got our order wrong and it when the replacement didn't come, we had to hunt down the manager. Three stars may be generous.

On a rainy night in Springfield, twenty or so members of my tour group staying at a nearby Holiday Inn Express, decided to order take out pizza (some sandwiches, some lasagna, and some salads too) for dinner. We called in 8 separate orders and for a single delivery charge of $2, our meals were delivered in 45 minutes.Our meals were delivered hot and all of our diners seemed very pleased with their menu choices. My personal choice was a small Combo Pizza with a full salad to be shared with my wife.Our pizza was great but so generously portioned that we were able to consume only five of it's eight slices. Our salad was likewise very large and we were able to consume only about half of it. The meal was great, the price was right, and the service was outstanding. Thus, I would highly recommend Malek's Pizza Palace to other prospective diners.
