Discover Restaurants offering the best Pizza food in Anchorage, Alaska, United States. Set amid the coastal Chugach Mountains, Anchorage defies popular visions of polar ice caps and frozen tundra. It’s also warmer than you think (averaging 65 degrees in summer), making conditions ideal for sight-seeing or taking on uniquely Alaskan opportunities like arctic biking or touring the fjords of Prince William Sound. In the winter, you can ski, dogsled or do both simultaneously by "skijoring," which is cross-country skiing while being towed by a dog. Hey, it's no crazier a winter sport than the biathlon.

Came here for lunch with some of my family. It is a pub/pizzeria with a large selection of beers available. It has a nice outside deck, service was friendly and efficient. We ordered 2 pizzas to share. They were good with a nice crispy base. Located in a good location in mis-town, well worth a visit for a bite to eat and some nice beers!

We too rediscovered this restaurant recently. That this place has remained open in Anchorage for 40 years says a lot. It is owned by the same family and they provide a homey atmosphere and genuinely friendly service. On top of that, the food is very good, from the pizza and gyros to the more sophisticated offerings.

Worst service in a long time, overcooked chicken on the salad. Pretty decent nachos and pizza, but the staff is not friendly and its pretty slow to get even a water refilled let alone another beer. Wait staff is the biggest downfall and why we havnt been back.

Because of convenience we ate three meals here. Food was mostly very good, but had problems with a couple of the items. Service was attentive and eager.

By far the best pizza in Eagle River. Located conveniently along the highway near Eagle River exit/off ramps. We usually pick up To-go and take pizza home. Great local pizza place thatâs not a chain pizzeria.

I ate here 3 times during my stay in Anchorage in July of 2019. I choose this place because it was close to the place I was staying.the first night I had a chicken gyro with cheese that came with seperately with salad green and chopped onion\tomatos and potato chips. It was good and filling. This was about $14 without tip.The second night I had lasagna based on the waiter's recommendation the previous time. It was good with real cheese. Not that ricotti cheese I do not like. It came with bread as well. Very filling. About $15 for the meal and Sprite without tip.The third and final time I had one of their pizza whic hwas excellent. The crust could not be any better than this. The cheese was also very good. The tomato sauce was decent though a bit more spike would be nice. I can see why the locals like it a lot.The restaurant itself is essentially at the corner of 5th Ave and G St. There are tables outside to sit at if the weather is good. There are also tables inside. This place apears to be popular with those in their 20s and 30s primarily. It was fairly active two the three times I was there. This is a pizza joint and thus not a ritzy decorre restaurant. If you want that go some place else. But if you want a good pizza at a reasonable price with a good atomsphere this is the place to go. I would certainly come here again.

Had an easy dinner here, trying to keep things simple while on our holiday from Australia. We shared a pizza and their cheese garlic bread, both of which were very nice. Had a vast array of beers which was surprising. Staff were good but a little distracted but it was a quiet Sunday night. Happy overall.

Really pleased with a recommendation we randomly got to go here for pizza. Some of the best pizza I've had in a long time. Lots of choices of unique pizzas and the standby build your own. The thai peanut pizza was great.
