Almaty /ˈælməti/ (Kazakh: Алматы, Almaty [ɑlmɑˈtə]; Russian: Алматы), formerly known as Alma-Ata /ˌælmə.əˈtɑː/ (Russian: Алма-Ата) and Verny (Russian: Верный Vernyy), is the largest city in Kazakhstan, with a population of 1,797,431 people, about 8% of the country's total population. It served as capital of the Kazakh state in its various forms from 1929 to 1997, under the influence of the then Soviet Union and its appointees. Alma-Ata was the host city for a 1978 international conference on Primary Health Care where the Alma Ata Declaration was adopted, marking a paradigm shift in global public health. In 1997, the government relocated the capital to Astana in the north of the country, which is about 12 hours away by train.

For a person who has visited Italy multiple times I was really pleasantly surprised! The interior is gorgeous, the music is carefully selected Italian hits and the service is outstanding. I was very impressed by a cheese plate which was very nicely served and offered a beautiful variety! The pasta was also fresh and deliciously creamy and Pavlova...out of this world! I would highly recommend!

Oh, I've been a fan of this place for a long time, since the very discovery. It has perfect pizza, caprese, pasta and coffee - I think, it's the only place in Almaty serving Illy coffee, which is definetely being the best among all the other options. Authentic taste of Italy lives here, so I definetely recommend to visit the place!

I have visited 4 years ago and this time tried again.In rush hour of the Restaurant but waitress Ola made everything super fast with her smiling..I had a Carpaccio and pizza with good taste...only Carpaccio portion was small..l will go again and again

Met just by hazard during a walk in the city, this restaurant is very nice, with a various menu and a good and helpful staff. Good dishes and also good drinks: local beers and wines

Simple tasty food and good value for money.Childrenâs menu handy and offers reasonable choices.Service could be better, but this is Kazakhstan so get use to it.

Pizza was here quite tasty. However nothing "wow". Service not so good with difficulties to communicate. Decoration od restaurant nice. Drinks, beer price should be lower. It is not Rome.

Pizza is very delicious. The most delicious pizza in Almaty. Always fresh toppings and crunch dough. I like Alfredo, chiken bbq and meat pizza is my fav. Also there are high chairs for babies so you can come with children.
