Casa Buonaparte, Napoleon's family home and birthplace, is worth a visit, as is the town cathedral. Or just enjoy the Corsican sun.

Went here for dinner when staying at the Best Western Amiraute - had walked far enough around the bay and just wanted to eat. It's not the most pre-possessing of places, a few tables outside a delicatessen/ food store on the side of the main road, but it filled quite quickly after we arrived and stayed that way. The constant stream of people picking up pizzas and the guy with the scooter taking another out for delivery every time he returned suggested it was popular (though there was an important Euro 2016 football match starting at 9 that evening). The owner was pleasant and friendly and, once a small queue in the shop had cleared, quick to take our order and then to bring it. Excellent, large, pizzas and a cheap but reasonable carafe of wine made for a very decent meal. They have a few desserts but we didn't get that far - the pizzas beat us.No complaints at all.

This restuarant is just around the corner from our hotel so we had our evening meal there on two occasions. The meals were both served as four course, very nicely presented, as you might expect from a good French restuarant. The name of the restaurant is actually Corsican, but they added the French La to the name.

I dined at this restaurant because I was impressed with the look and the size of the pizzas that I saw when I went through the terrace. The place is very quiet and the quality is very good as well the price. The service is that is a bit slow.My girlfriend ordered a risotto and loved it, I ate a calzone and was not disappointed.I recommend this restaurant for an end of day when you want eat something good in a quiet place without having to look far.

We went to Le 20 Heures Vin after having seen the good reviews on TripAdvisor and have been going back there several times during our stay in Ajaccio. It is located in the old town and has great seating outside in a calm side street. They offer a list of great wines and their pizzas and appetizers (very generous amounts) are fabulous. The value for money is also excellent. We have been served by Elo who made our stay even better; super welcoming and accommodating, friendly and always with a smile and always available for good food and wine recommendations. 5* to Elo :) I can only recommend this place.

Here's a restaurant which does exactly what it says on the tin. Great pizza, good service, and all in a great location, few minutes walk from the harbour and the town beach.

Sensational and innovative pizzas combined with a prime dining area and really slick service justifies this venue top 10 ranking. Paid around â¬40 euros for 2 pizzas and 4 glasses of wine.As others reviewers have advised bookings seem essential on popular nights.

We were on a cruise in Corsica and stumbled upon this restaurant. To our pleasant surprise, it served the most amazing food. We loved everything we ordered and we started to talk to other tables as they were talking about how wonderful their dishes were. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone!
