advised to go there by our B&B hosts, this was the best pizza ever. The meals served to other customers also looked pretty good, but there is only so much room .....

Was there in April. We were looking for simple seafood restaurant. This was the only one that was opened. We knew to never eat at the biggest touristy looking restaurant by the sea but we had no choice. The only food that was nice was my "lobster spaghetti" however, it was not what i had expected. I was expecting half a lobster for the price but it came with one pathetic tiny mini lobster looking shrimp in the size of a langoustine. The sauce was good though. My secondi was seafood mixed which the menu said assorted clams and prawns. It came mainly with the "smelly" mussles, few tiny vongole and no prawns. When i asked for the prawns, they came separately a bowl of tiny prawns. After this restaurant, we decided to give up looking for decent restaurant in Agropoli and mostly cook our own meals with the fresh seafood we can buy from shops.

This is undoubtedly one of the places where you could eat the best pizza accompanied by the best atmosphere ever. On top of the medieval village of Agropoli, this pizzeria is located exactly in the center of the square, easily recognizable by the many wooden benches arranged. The pizza you order in the store, in a small box shop, within which there is only the oven and pizza chefs kneading. The wait is quite long given the amount of people, the seats are not numbered, so it's best to find one if you want to eat sitting down, otherwise you may eat standing up. The pizza is served in small baskets, wicker baskets look like, cut already sliced ââand ready to be eaten, I can assure you it is a unique and so delight. Said that, and emphasizing the goodness of this pizza and the fantastic location, the prices are really low, I don't remember the exact prices for each pizza, but I remember perfectly I have had dinner with 6 friends with 6 pizzas and drinks for everyone and we have payed less than 30 â¬uro. The only downside of this place are the long waits, especially on summer evenings, but it's worth it trust me.

We were really looking forward to trying the pizza after reading the great reviews. We were disappointed to discover that they don't serve pizza at lunchtime. The lovely lady serving suggested some tasty pasta alternatives which went down a treat - no bread was offered which was a shame as the pasta sauces were lovely. A half carafe of local wine and a bottle of water was very reasonably priced. Lovely location in a little square and pleasant staff just a shame about the lack of pizza. Recommend however if you're in the area. Ps no pudding or coffee at lunchtime either.Thank you very much. Greetings from the staff.

Words cannot express how amazing our dining experience was here. The restaurant is very simple⦠Very vocal⦠But the best meal that we had in our three weeks in Italy. From the service to the attention that we got, from the delicious meals that were carefully prepared to the fresh ingredients that were used, I will be thinking about this restaurant until I return to Italy. The pasta fagioli tasted like my Nonna's. Can't find that anywhere. Pizza was the best we had on the whole trip. They made a special pesto pasta for my young daughters. They liked the plates. The vegetables we chose for appetizers were incredible. I can't wait to go back here.

Not really sure why they call in pizzeria here on the front page. They make pizza but there is so much come to come for. First of all it's an escape from stone town to the hill with fantastic view and fresh air (make sure you take some wrap or long sleeves with you to feel comfortable). The tables on the terrance are simply great, very quite and peaceful place. The cuisine is very special. By saying that I mean that generally food in Italy is delicious but very simply cooked and served. Here it's not at all simple, all is cooked and served by very creative and professional crew. The portions are large so be careful! We'll definitely come back.
