Comida peruana, tradicional, fusion, vegetariana. Bar completo, mesas altas con balcones y vista a la plaza.
Well, there are not a ton of fancier restaurants to dine at in Urubamba. This was recommended by our concierge. it was pretty good. The decor could use some work. I had âcuyâ several times in Peru, and this was the best one of all the various interpretations I tried. It came with this quinoa dish that was way too spicy for me, but my husband loved it. They had this excellent yucca flour cracker with the bread service that I never saw any place else but here in Peru. It came with some amazing herbed butter. The service was terrific. Reasonable prices.

Our guide Hugo recommended us, right after we checked into San Agustin Urumbamba hotel we asked the receptionist to book a 8pm slot for us, using Google map, we were able to find this âhidden gemâ in a dark alley, we ordered the trout carpaccio, the quinoa soup, and the Alpaca Lasagne, all 3 dishes were excellent and the Peruvian red wine was great. The server (sheâs Russian-Israel-Canadian) was cheerful and make our evening memorable, we forgot to ask her name, I wanted to say thank you to you and your team, excellente !

The best food we have eaten since being in Peru. The owners/chefs were friendly and took the time to explain everything on the menu. The menu is constantly changing and everything is cooked fresh to order . I canât say enough good things about this place . We sat out in the courtyard area and they have two beautiful friendly cats that roam around . I have a big soft spot for animal lovers . This place is fabulous!! I visited Hawa three times for breakfast during a stay at Tambo Del Inka. Anguella greeted us warmly every morning and even remembered us from one day to the next. Our servers were always attentive and friendly. I appreciated the consistency and personalization across our visits- whether it was from Kevin at 5:30 AM before a trip to Machu Picchu, Karina and Stheep during a leisurely late morning meal, or Diego and Irma at our final visit before departing. Everyone we encountered throughout the restaurant was genuine, warm, and eager to please! The buffet and menu selections are plentiful, varied, and flavorful. There are multiple buffet setups (detox, gluten free, international, etc.) and a la carte options available. This breakfast experience is worth every penny!Dear Guest,Thank you for sharing your experience at Hotel Tambo del Inka Luxury Collection Resort & Spa.We are very happy to know that you had a pleasant experience with us, not only being able to taste our delicious food but also enjoying our excellent service. It is very important to receive their opinions, which will help us improve and strengthen the service we provide to our clients, to meet their expectations and needs. We already sent them to Anguela, Kevin, Karina, Steheep, Irma & Diego their words of thanks for the exceptional service they provided.Thank you very much again and we hope to receive you again in hotel and restaurant in a next opportunity.Sincerely

We stopped for lunch at Tawa with our guide - an excellent decision. For appetizers, both the stuffed pepper and trout ceviche were delicious. Pato (duck) with rice and trout main courses were excellent, and how could we resist the desserts, beautifully presented and tasty? Well worth the stop down the Sacred Valley.
