The Skirt steak was outstanding and with a Malbec Luigi Bosca wine was perfect. The only dissonating moment was when the piano-man in the next door bar began to play his music combined with the restaurants own music, the mix of the two sounds just did not make a harmomius experienceDear client. Thank you for qualifying us, we highly appreciate it, for us it is a pleasure to make your experience unique. We look forward to your return soon.

My meal started out well. I was dining early, so my drink order was taken quickly and the delicious focaccia bread arrived immediately. I ordered classic ceviche and the duck rice. The ceviche arrived in a huge portion - like two cups of ceviche for one person. It was flavorful and fresh, but the portion was too big. After I ate half of it, the waiter asked if it was okay. I said it was good, but too big. He said he would leave it to allow me to pick at it and mix it with my entree. The duck rice entree was good, but also very large. I finished what I could eat and left the rest. I was then left alone for about 30 minutes, while nobody stopped by the table or asked if I needed anything else, I tried to make eye contact multiple times, even waiving at waiters. Nobody stopped. They were hitting their peak busy time, but with more than ten waiters working, they easily could have checked in. The service was not bad, just slow. The food was good, but the portions were large. And the waiters made you feel like you were wasting food if you didn't finish everything.Dear kbrosnah, Thanks for visiting us, we appreciate your feedback. We hope to receive you soon in Nanka La Molina or in San Isidro. We will be waiting to provide you with the best Nanka experience. Best regards!

Mar y Selva is a small place offering a variety of Peruvian food. I could not choose so I started with the causa acevichada, which was brilliant, and patacones en salsa especial. The salsa, yet again, was brilliant, while the patacones lacked some crispness. Finally, I had the tacu tacu en picante de marisco. As I have not had this before I don't know how it's supposed to be. That said I was slightly disappointed. It looked great but lacked a bit in taste. Hello JanB420 thank you very much for your comment, we are very happy for your gratifying evaluation ! We hope you come back soon, it will always be a pleasure to serve you.

Astounded at the service, food, and drinks! We enjoyed the Lomo Saltado, beautiful chunks of beef and fried potatoes (what Americans would call French Fries) in a soy-based sauce, survived with rice and some Peruvian corn. Itâs traditional meal, superbly prepared. The service was exceptional. Our server dealt with our crappy Spanish but completely fluent in English. What a nice guy. Someh, our server talked us into this dessert... It was a caramel with whipped cream and cinnamon. Holy smokes! Outside-style dining, lovely decor, great traditional food, excellent, innovative drinks, and superb service. Worth a visit and highly recommended.¡Totalmente de acuerdo contigo!

A traditional family house in the monumental district of Barranco, shares the taste of the local food made by Afroperuvian women who had always cook for the family.
I was walking near the Puente de los Suspiros (Bridge of Sighs) in the Barranco district in Lima when I came across this restaurant. While I was looking at the menu outside the entrance the women whose family runs this restaurant struck up a conversation with me. She was so nice that I decided to eat dinner there. My favorite dish was a starter called Clausa which is a layer of avocado and mayonnaise surrounded by two layers of mashed yellow potatoes. There was a piano player entertaining the diners during dinner. Good food, friendly service, good location and nice atmosphere.

When we went there, they asked us if we had a reservation. Not to mention that we called and called and nobody answer the phone, the website said: you can reserve online... you're right! Nobody answers anyways, so then we go there and the waiter (Venezuelan I believe) was rude..."If you don't have a reservation you can't come here". I explained what happened, and he still refused to sit us; at the end we got seated, but the atmosphere even though it's nice and well decorated, is cold and not well heated at all, noise level is Crazy and with the DJ and music I felt like screaming just to have a normal conversation. The food is nothing to die for, the Minestrone soup was thick and heavy, The ceviche was OK, the only good thing I got was the Leche de Tigre, (or maybe because I was craving it) A positive thing: generous portions... You can go to El Bodegon, La Panchita or El Punto Azul and get MUCH BETTER food, better service and they are all located in the trendy district of Miraflores. I would never come back to this place.....
