No aceptan tarjetas, puedes pedir boleta.
The decor is good, the food took over an hour to arrive. No apologies or anything, just really really really slow and late. No decent drink options.
This restaurant is just a few meters away from the market, in La Merced. I was surprised to see a fairly "upscale" restaurant so close to the market, cuz the market is very basic, blue collar, and is known for having very cheap food. But Luchito is a nice-looking, very clean and inviting place. I ordered a "tallarines en salsa de huacaina con lomo saltado" and I enjoyed it very much. The lomo was juicy and tasty, and complimented the noodles. With a bottle of water, the meal cost $6 USD so it is slightly expensive for the area but not really expensive at all.I will definitely try to eat the "menu del dia" at lunch time, and see how the quality compares to other fixed-price lunch menus in Peru. I love eating good food for less than $3 USD and that's what's great about Peru.
In our restaurant , we care because meals go beyond consumer expectations , with innovative dishes , combining flavors of our jungle and traditional region , one of our signature dishes is the beef jerky juice , sylvan chaufa ( corned beef , sausage ) and

Well...at first we thought is one of this usual turism traps on the Plaza de Armas, but we were mistaken.Excellent card, selection of beers(very unusual in Peru) and a super attentive service.I had "Zungaro" a sweetwater fish from around with a delicious garlic. parsil sauce and my wife tried the local cecina which was good but not excellent like in Iquitos. The service was fast and discret and the place by it self is very charming with all this old photos on the wall.If anybody stays a few days in La Merced this place is highly recommended! Thanks Andy for your comment, we are very pleased with the good image that you take our land and especially the restaurant and our food and attention, we are improving slowly and you comment helps us do our job better, that God you too can bless and family back soon.
