Veldig koselig kro med sjel. Måtte vente lenge for å få tre kopper kaffe og kaker. De hadde ikke fløte til kaffen, da den de hadde var blitt sur. Den ansatte beklaget og var meget hyggelig.
Kongshallene is one of the most unique and exciting restaurants in Norway. Our venue is from 1669 and you will dine here and experience food from that time in combination with historical entertainment. We also make sure that you are well taken care of in

A very nice and a little old fashioned place, with a nice selection of cakes and a good lunch menu. Erlandsens excellent sandwiches are made on fresh bread, and give good value for money. The "Conditori" also holds a relatively wide variety of miscellaneous curiosities for sale. Concerts some evenings.

By pure accident I came here, as it was a Monday very few other places were open at 18:00. Well that was a fantastic stroke of luck because the food was out of this world, succulent deer with spinach and sautéed potatoes and carrots, delicious. I would definitely recommend a visit here if your in the area.

Loved to sit in this somewhat hidden loacation and watch the harbour while eating prawns and a nice glass of good drinking. You get this typical feeling you have when visiting seacoast harbours eating fresh seafood - so typical of for instance west coast Sweden. You will defintly like it and it's placed in a charming area of the town with traditional seacoast housing and small narrrow streets. Not really cheap, but that's Norway in a nutshell.

This is a micro-brewery situated under the old police headquarters in the southern part of the town, where the owner/brewer is not afraid of trying new tastes. In addition to offering their own produce, they also collaborate with other micro-breweries to offer an even broader range of tastes. Friendly staff, excellent atmosphere, seating inside, and under tarpaulins outside. Recommended.

A very nice place with excellent food.. The restaurant is located a few minutes walk from the sea front. The back yard is nice and warm as soon as the sun is up - even now in April. The inside I have not yet tried out. The best chicken salad I have ever tasted, and the even managed to make a burger sandwich in a very special and tasty way.

It was my first visit here, but my wife had been here before and she liked it.The place is like an old antique shop and doesn't remind you of a café when you enter. They had several type of tea to choose from. You can also get some tasty dishes here. We ordered cauliflower soup and it was delicious. Will for sure return here when I'm in town.

In the inner parts of Fredriksten fortress we find Vertshuset Curtisen, a small restaurant (46 seats) with a fantastic kitchen on historic ground.Curtisen has won prices for the best regional restaurant in the south-east of Norway, 2006 and 2008.Good loca
Situated in the heart of the Fredriksten Fortress you find one of the best restaurant in Ãstfold. The kitchen is the heart of the restaurant. I bet you have a larger kitchen at home.Focuses on local ingredients which is traceable, often with a story about the producer. Runned by Sebastian Engh in the soul of its founder. Lovely dishes and great flavors, paired whit good wines. A kind of a la carte from a small menu based on the season. The menu normally have 5 dishes and you can choose from three to five. Of course I recommend that you take all five. Booking is necessary. Hi KimWhat a pleasure to know that you were satisfied with our service !We work hard everyday to give the best experience for our guests. I will share this review with my team, and we are looking forward to welcoming you guys on the next visit.Sincerely yours Sebastian Engh
