We had lunch here after a cruise on the fijords , it appeared to be a temporary set up with marque and a number of tables and seats under shelter. There were several dishes being cooked In the open , they looked and smelt fantastic. We choose the fish soup which was delicious. Staff were friendly and cheerful. A little exspensive but taxes are high in Norway, 25%

Furukroa is a colourful and contemporary café and a popular lunch stop. The menu varies with the season. You can enjoy everything from rissoles with brown sauce and salmon with boiled potatoes to burgers, pizzas, sandwiches, salads and vegetarian dishes.
We arrived in Flåm on the ferry at lunchtime, and looked around to find this place. Ordering was easy and swift, prices reasonable, and the food itself both delicious and filling. Adding a locally-brewed beer made it even better.Dear guest, Thank you for leaving your review and for sharing your experience with us and fellow travellers. We are happy you enjoyed your lunch at Furukroa. Welcome back soon!

Without a doubt, the best meal in Flam! Flam unfortunately is completely geared up for tourists & cruise passengers, neither of whom appreciate good quality food. We had a fish soup and a fish curry and both were really good. It was the best meal we had in Flam. Everywhere else is rubbish. Yes it is a market stall (although there are a couple of picnic bench tables & chairs where you can sit down) and yes it is expensive for what it is, but it is by far the best food in Flam! We only had lunch here, but I would recommend others to have dinner here (accept it for what it is - i.e. a market stall where you can eat & order in 10 mins) and then just go to the Aegir Brewery Pub for a few drinks. It is the best option in Flam, believe me.

FlÃ¥mstova Restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The restaurant is relaxed and informal, and ideal for both a small meal and parties of all sizes. It is popular with the hotelâs own guests, people on day trips, guests staying at other hotels,
We came here before boarding the Flam railway and it was perfect. at lunchtime the restaurant serves a buffet which has everything to offer. The service was good and we left feeling that we had chosen the best place for a good lunch. Dear guest, We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed your lunch at Flåmstova, and we also want to thank you for taking your time to leave us a review. Welcome back!

I understand senior Chinese tourists behave improper sometimes. However, they want to make all the Chinese speakers feel we are not welcome here. The fish soup is good but I really regret walking into here. It was such a terrible lunch experience, my first time to go through âI did nothing wrong but still being punished just because of who I was bornâI am sorry to hear that you felt unfairly treated. We do really try to treat everyone with respect and a professional service attitude. So I am puzzled by your comments...Not quite sure what happened in this situation and your wording "passive/agressive" ?

Here we ate a simple dinner. I tried long boiled goat chilling. The dish was simple and somewhat tasteless. Had expected something better. The salad was as usual in Norway .... mostly just cabbage. Nothing to say about the price. A salmon plate, goat chilling, an alcohol-free beer and three Gudvangen juice for 60 euro / 586 enough is perfectly fine. Her spiste vi en enkel middag. Jeg prøvde langkokt geitekilling. Retten var enkel og noe smakløs. Hadde forventet noe bedre. Salaten var som vanlig i Norge....stort sett bare kål. Ikke noe å si på prisen. En laksetallerken, geitekilling, en alkoholfri øl og tre Gudvangen juice til 60 euro/586 nok er helt greit.

The buffet was wonderful with local specialties that I have been wanting to try. There are local pates, smoked meat of goat and lamb, incredible fish and seafood. There is also a very wonderful selection of cheese from the local farmers. This is a wonderful farm to table experience. I was so glad as I got the buffet as it really included top items to enjoy from the local community. The breakfast is also impressive with wonderful salmon, herring and fine cheese selection. The breads from the hotel's bakery are also highly recommended. What a treat!Thank you for your detailed review. It is reassuring for us to see that we are able to deliver on high quality for our diserning international guests. Hope to see you again.

We selected a table below heaters in the conservatory area with uninterupted views of the beautiful fjord. The menu was varied with typical Norwegian and international dishes. We chose the chicken and mushroom risotto and cheese and bacon burger, both of which were delicious. Suprisingly, the wine was very reasonably priced for Norway with Sancere and Chablis available at £40 per bottle - 50% less than the price in other Norwegian restaurants.

Flåm Bakery offers visitors from all over the world and locals delicious freshly baked pastries all year round. Enjoy homemade breads, pastries, sandwiches, ice cream and coffee. You can find the bakery next to the station building.
We treated ourselves to pastries and coffee after our train ride and managed to get a seat in the sun outside by the quay. The choice of sweet and savoury items was amazing with our choices being delicious. The prices, by Norwegian standards were not too bad, we found and really enjoyed the visit.Good ! Nice to hear about your experience. Welcome back to Flåm Bakeri !

Ãgir beer - world class craft beer produced in FlÃ¥m, Norway. The Ãgir BrewPub is a huge attractions with architecture inspired by the Norse mythology, with exterior reminiscent of a stave church. Use your senses and discover a new world of smell and taste
Liking beer, we ventured into this Viking-ish building to have a couple. The inside was a delightful surprise of carved wooden seating options, couches, and a sunken bench in the round circling a freestanding fireplace. The barkeep was a friendly and orderly fellow. The food upstairs was much better than I expected. Very happy with our evening here and would highly recommend for people staying in Flam.
