On a terrace overlooking the sea coast up to Portofino. The meal was very good with typical dishes of the Ligurian cuisine well prepared and well balanced.Price is very reasonable.

I was here already few times and I do reconfirm my great appreciation for the food and the environment. Enjoy the chef recommendation based on fresh fish availability (such as raw prawns and shrimps). Tagliolini with Bottarga and raw egg yolk are really tasty and delicious.Staff and the owner are attentive and friendly.

This restaurant is not on the main drag in Camogli, but on the street just behind it. Everything about our meal was terrific -- sizable portions of wonderfully cooked food; very nice decor; pleasant atmosphere; and engaging and likeable hosts.I rarely comment on others' comments, but a have a couple observations about the recent comment that gave this restaurant a poor rating and complained about portion size. First, I took note of what was served to many other diners, and everyone's portions looked sizable - not just ours. Second, the commenter has written only four reviews and 3 of the 4 were one star. I discount such reviews.

We had lunch with some other travelers and were very impressed with the food and the service. We had dry white wine, bread sticks and focaccia bread and then had a demonstration of how their focaccia with cheese specialty was made. Fortunately we were then served a plateful as it was delicious. That was followed by stuffed eggplant pieces and a green salad. We finished with chocolate cookie balls filled with rum flavored chocolate. Oh my. If I ever came back to this area I would definitely return to this restaurant.

Restaurant completely renovated, with atmosphere, live music, jazz and atmosphere, Italian cuisine and territory revisited by the chef, you can not miss the delicious cheese focaccia.
Did you ate dinner at the underground metro station in prime time? No? In this place the same feelings. And if you are not local then you have not chance to reserve table. Really! The same feeling as you come to family party where everybody knows each other but not you. And you have to pay for their enjoyment ââï¸. Only waiters try to keep you mood. Piuttosto imparate l educazione e bevete meno che vi fa male, disastri!

I have been at Mille e una Notte several times, always in summer, enjoyed the marvellous terrace and incredible view and had always simple and excellent food.I tried it again in autumn, and ate inside.Very disappointing. The table was below a loudspeaker with pop/radio style music. Too loud.Table was too near a service room (not the kitchen but kind of a storage room). The service was at the real minumum, guess there was just one cook and one person at the tables.Food was below standard, an overcooked fish, and the appetizers were all of average quality.I don't know if they either changed management or they size the place down for the cold season. And from the windows, because of the bad inside illumination, the view was not existing.Guess that the magic of the place is only in the terrace and the view, and most probably they improve the quality of food and of the service in summer. Not recommended, maybe to be tried only in full summer.

A small and cozy restaurant in Camogli. Traditional cuisine with touches of creativity. Fresh local fish, homemade pasta, bread and desserts.
We be waited to post this review until Iâd calmed down and will ultimately explain. We chose this restaurant due to decent reviews on Trip Advisor and entered (following a reservation) an empty restaurant early one evening last week. The lady who served us was very pleasant and speaks English well so we could discuss the menu in detail. The food was fairly good, my wife and I swapped first courses as I wasnât keen on the borage tagliatelle served with the vongole and she wasnât keen on the gnocchi. If truth be told they were both just ok but Iâm not sure why youâd change the winning formula of spaghetti vongole, maybe itâs a local thing.?We had the special for main, a decent sized piece of barone (bass) which was served with a few roasted potatoes. I liked it but my wife didnât like the texture and I understood that as it had a âsous videâ consistency and indeed I would have preferred it hard fried or roasted for a crisper edge with a soft inside but I guess thatâs just our predilection. After weâd finished our meal we were asked whether weâd like dessert so we had a cursory glance at the menu but explained that we had a train back to Rapallo to catch in 15 minutes (we were told it was only 5 minutes away) and that the next one was an hour later so weâd like the bill. It came in 5 minutes but I was ignored when I showed my credit card immediately and she started serving other tables. I didnât expect her to drop everything but taking my money so we could catch my train wouldâve taken less than a minute. We were checking our watches but were consistently ignored so we scraped together the â¬100 euros in cash that we didnât think we had and handed it straight to her and left as quickly as we could. You can probably guess that we missed our train (by two minutes) and had to hang around for another hour - we were furious, it could so easily have been avoided but for some strange reason she wouldnât come over. Well I had to knock a mark off for that, had I written this the next day it wouldâve been two marks. The food we ate - which is all I can speak of - was ok to fine, the restaurant is pretty and we had a good glass of wine as recommended.

Historic restaurant in Santa Margherita. Romantic atmosphere. Fish and raw fish restaurant. Also Ligurian cuisine
The food took about 45mins to arrive, the portion was good, the taste was also good but could be better, nice service and friendly atmosphere.PS: If you want a nice seat on the balcony it is preferable to reserve 1st since we did not reserve we got a table next to the kitchen which was not very nice. Dear Jmichelem, thank you for visiting. Let us be glad that you were satisfied with the dishes and the service. We apologize if you had to wait a few minutes more, our restaurant near the sea is very crowded in the middle of August, it is advisable to book it. See you soon.

A HISTORIC MANOR of the end of '800 facing the sea : location for exclusive EVENTS , new RESTAURANT
We were staying at the Grand Bristol hotel in Rapallo end of September 2016 and the weather was excellent so walking about we passed the Villa twice a day for 4 days before we worked out how to get to it as their signage was a bit lacking - but eventually went into the communal park and found the entrance gate! So glad we did. It is an oasis of calm away from the bustle and traffic of downtown Rapallo and simply stunning views from the terrace. Very romantic and nicely furnished.Had dinner and then came back for our last holiday lunch. Both times the service was attentive and the food excellent. Enjoyed the risotto with strawberries and the sea bass baked in salt - well cooked and not overdone as sadly it can be.Overall it is a cut above any other restaurant in Rapallo and we would thoroughly recommend seeking it out if you are staying in or near Rapallo.
