Ristorante Sciovia Forcora

Cucina casalinga, pasta fresca , dolci fatti in casa, specialità selvaggina ... locale a conduzione famigliare finalizzato all'utilizzo di prodotti tipici delle nostre valli e della nostra provincia.

Buona cucina, personale simpatico, servizio piuttosto celere. Il locale avrebbe necessità di un maquillage, ma trattandosi di un rifugio, va bene lo stesso. Il prezzo è un po' più da città, ma la qualità del cibo lo fa perdonare. Globalmente: molto buono

Grotto Carza - Ristorante e Bar

We climbed Monte Carza near Lago Maggiore in the morning up a pretty path and then went looking for lunch but expected that we would have to return down the mountain for food. We decided to drive gingerly along some more windy mountain road just in case we found a cafe. Instead we found an excellent family restaurant serving traditional Italian country food. It has only recently reopened after a fire which destroyed it. The local community arranged to rebuild it and now it has started operating as a full restaurant which is family friendly. Indeed they are building an adventure playground. They offer a fixed menu with an ante pasta of local ham and a choice of pasta (I had the homemade pesto sauce) and a choice of a salad or a tasty slow cooked venison dish. All excellent. And a truly delicious chocolate tart with lovely homemade pannetone with coffee. The staff were really friendly and explained in good English what all the dishes were and how they were finishing the restaurant. We will return. Thank you for this beautiful review! So happy you came by and looking forward to meeting you again anytime soon.

Beer-Bante Birreria Steakhouse

My wife and I stopped in here for dinner while on vacation in Cannobio, Italy. We enjoyed dinner here and would stop in again. Like many places, this establishment has pluses and minuses. Pluses:Beautiful view of Lago MaggioreGood foodGood valueNegatives:Poor service (unattentive and slow)Relatively limited menuI had the chicken schnitzel and it was very average. However, my wife has a beautiful cheese burger on a marvelous fresh roll - absolutely lovely - with fresh beef. Would I stop here again, Yes. However, this would not be my first choice when considering dinner on the promenade in Cannobio
