Wairarapa paddocks serve up some of the best seasonal and organic produce weâve ever stumbled across. Come and savour some with a local drop.

Stopped here for a brunch last Monday. The food was overpriced and there wasn't anything to justify the premium. My coffee was served a good 12 minutes ahead of the food and to make matters worse the coffee was lukewarm. We both had the Mushrooms On Toast which was an OK dish except for the toast lacking any crispness which meant it went very stodgy. We will vote with our feet so next time when passing through Greytown it will be an alternative choice. There are plenty of cafes which are a delight to visit. It is unusual for me to give a negative review.

The Greytown Hotel Restaurant came recommended by a nice German girl at Schubert Wines in Martinborough. We went for lunch and had the bar area to ourselves. The two bar ladies were very friendly and nice to talk to. The burger and fries were delicious and the beer was good too. It was a very pleasant stop on our way to Napier. We left for our long drive ahead, very happy and satified. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting lovely Greytown.Hello DeeszignerThanks for your nice review glad you enjoyed our bar meals, would be lovely to see you again on your travels.

We breakfasted there 3 mornings with a baby & 4yo. Staff were very friendly & accommodating & engaged with 4yo. Great food & coffee. A bit crowded but from the number of people who came in, itâs obviously a hit in town. Reasonable prices.

Very few restaurants to eat in Greytown on a Sunday evening. We called in at 7:30pm and asked for a table for 2. The response was âweâve run out of pizzasâ. As it happened we would like to have tried other items on the menu, lasagne, tagine etc. so we crossed the road and had excellent fish & chips at The Swan!

Located in the heart of beautiful Greytown, Saluté is a lot more than you would expect from a local village restaurant. We offer an upscale yet relaxed environment with a Mediterranean-inspired menu featuring fresh, seasonal, local ingredients expertly pr
Dropped in with family who recommended the place. We ordered a range of pizzas and were not disappointed.I had the blue cheese one which had lots of great flavours going on. All the other pizzas on the table were the same, great taste and presentation.Good friendly service as well. The only down side of this visit was the temperature with the restaurant being on the cool side. The door had a hard job closing so got left open for short periods that didn't help. Thanks Peter for taking the time to share your feedback with us. Yes, we are undoubtedly aware of our faulty door and are already in the process of getting this fixed with the help of our landlord. We apologise that it adversely affected your visit and trust that it will be fixed in time for your next visit. While we are pleased to hear the rest of your experience was well-received, please know that your complete satisfaction is of paramount importance to us. Thank you again.

Called in twice - first time to grab a quick snack en route of our travels. Second time we made a point of calling in after doing some sight seeing in the local area. Took some food back to our accommodation for our dinner. Brought a couple of hot cross buns home with me as well which were lovely!
