Wow, I was in the area and fancied a curry and chose this place due to its trip advisor reviews.Its situated about a minute from the main Felham train station and from the outside looks a little rough and ready...how wrong is that first impression, Step inside to a very warm welcom from a lovely Polish waitress who couldnt do enough for you.I did think where are all the Nepalese?Well they are in the kitchen cooking some of the best curry Ive ever had. I went for a Nepalese chicken curry with fresh green chilli and it was superb. The keema nan was lovely as was the saag aloo. My friend had mild lamb dish and he said it was lovely,It shows how good this place is when several Nepalese people came in to eat.Im sure I will visit this place again if Im in the area

From the interior outlay and meticulously deco food, to server humility,,we group of 5 were in continuous constant awe..0.oBusy and buzzy inside..The server/guy needs a pay rise now...Ordered som selection of mezze, gorkha grill, curries and mix of rice. Curries were second to none-as gorgeous as a beautiful summer shine,breads were fresh and straight out from the fire oven. Cherry on top-Kawabs especially, the chops and minced lamb were succulent, tender and seasoned to perfection and so was house wine-smooth and easy goin-...Fairly priced, portion as generous and large as server smile, The restaurant, can host eaters from any background and accommodate group at large. We went there for a dinner. The service was very good and could even speak german. Drinks and food are brilliant. It was no problem to have an indian dish, which I discovered in Malaysia a few weeks ago. Very delicious. The Tandoori chicken comes without artificial colour - even that was explained when we placed the order. Very fair prizing. It is a pitty they have now some road works outside.Will definitily come back on the next trip.

The restaurant is large and has a very nice interior. The staff were so welcoming and very professional. A real effort was made. There were some complementary starter snacks which were a nice touch. I found the rest of the food to be underwhelming. The main dish was just like a very average medium curry, despite it being a vindaloo. The flavour wasn't great at all. Maybe it was a bad night as there are many other good reviews here.

If you are looking for great Nepalese food with very friendly service then do visit Namaste Gurkha. It is not a large restaurant so ensure you book, especially on a weekend. Popular with families as children are very welcomeâ¦which adds to the hubbub of the overall atmosphere.
