My family and I drive about 2 hours to eat at this place...family owned, food is fantastic, made fresh, very very clean, many choices. Shawarma, kabab, tabouli salad, are amazing....give them a try, you are going to love it...good job thank you.

We cater to vegetarian / Vegan / and gourmet Boar's Head hero sandwiches that will satisfy the hungriest appetite. We buy all of our produce locally and support small business like our selfs. We prepare old family recipes from scratch, We don't fry we bak
he ordered a chicken gyro and 20 minutes after i got my sandwich I asked if they forgot his - which i was told no they had to "cook" the chicken. it came out 10 minutes later and the "gyro" was made with cold lunch meat (?) my boy said it was good, but that kind of sucked because I was "showing off" this great place I found ... and he ended up with lunch meat on a gyro. i know things happens but this was a pretty crappy way to fix it it. (P.S. if lunch meat IS the chicken gyro ...be ashamed - that is not right). PS. they forgot I ordered hummus and had to ask for it (it was not busy at the time).Very sorry for your unfortunate experience. I will make it up to you please ask for me when you visit us again âAlbertâ.

This place has been here for a while. It's consistently very good Lots of dishes to sample. We had numerous small plates and shared. Hummus, eggplant etc. All excellent. We also had a few kabobs of lamb, beef and chicken. Excellent. Going with a small group and sharing is the way to do it. Great service and nice people.

This was my second visit in about 6 months. I confirm my original feelings that this one of the best and most authentic âhome cookingâ restaurants serving Middle Eastern food. Simple in terms of décor, with photos of Syria on the walls, the place clearly has its regulars. One meal tells you why!In addition to the very friendly service, many of the food options are unlike what other Middle Eastern restaurants offer. âShangleeshâ, for example, is a type of cheese one finds in Syria and Lebanon. Here you can order it alone, or as I did, in a dish called âSurkeyâ, in which it becomes a salad mixed with chopped tomatoes, garlic, parsley. It was delicious at $5.99. One can also find pickled vegetables, like the pickled eggplant at $4.75.For main courses, there is much too choose from and far more than their wonderful kababs, which are beef, chicken and vegetable kabobs. I found their âFried cauliflower over riceâ at $11.50 to be excellent. All in all, speaking as one who travels regularly throughout the Middle East, this is the best example of Syrian home cooking I have found this side of the Atlantic. It makes the trip to Allentown worthwhile just to enjoy a dinner at Damascus. It is a BYO and reservations on Saturday nights as recommended.Iâm looking forward to returning soon!
