Things to do in Tripoli
We found this by chance itâs the locals hidden gem. Itâs like a mini Greek island carved into the rocks. Itâs beautiful, blue and fresh looking. There are restaurant on top of restaurant and they all flow into the sea below. We had lunch here and a few beers. We could have stayed the afternoon, but we were with friends that needed to get back to Batroun.
I had lunch at Dar Al Amar while visiting Tripoli for work. The place is big, with a large terrace and a lot of sunlight which was pleasant to have. The service was friendly and quick to bring the food.A tpypical Lebanese cuisine with a lot of flavor and quality, I would particularly recommend the Kafta with molasses bites, those were heavenly !Prices are really good considering the number of dishes we ordered.Would definitely go back to this place when I visit Tripoli again
Pro:- very spacious- reasonably priced meals- a cool breeze during summer- service is good- friendly staffCons:- Parking is difficult so get a small car.

I visited this restaurant many times.. The quality & taste of the food are excellent.. The staffs are very friendly.. The most important that they provide the traditional sweets of tripoli & the seasonal fruits for free.. When you will visit Lebanon never miss the chance to go to tripoli & get your traditional Lebanese lunch here.
Since 1881, Rafaat Hallab 1881 SAL has been gratifying their customersâ gourmet fantasies with the most delicious homemade oriental pastries. Still improving on the legacy of the past, Rafaat Hallab 1881 SAL pastries are now a reference in Lebanese sweets
Wonderful place to have an afternoon traditional Lebanese coffee & dessert.Loved it and enjoyed being there
A very nice restaurant. Nice ambience, decoration is well made that reflects history and culture of Tripoli. Food are Lebanese classical, but can find some great signatures of Tripoli. Service is welcoming and attentive, just typically a Lebanese hospitality with a generosity of Tripoli people.Prices are fair and worth it.Recommended!

The best place I've had "Fatah" and "Foul".Requested different variations of "Foul" and they were able to accommodate. In the past, they used to get bread directly from the bread-shop next door as it came out of the oven; on this occasion, if we wanted straight from the oven bread, we needed to get it ourselves...which was not an issue for us.

Arguably the best restaurant in North Lebanon. Beautiful view, great food, impeccable service and friendly owners. The kitchen goes the extra mile to find the right tweak that would make the dish awesome. Can't wait till I go back again.

Akra is an old family business that serves traditional Lebanese breakfast. Today, Akra tops the must-visit list of Tripoli, Lebanon. Experience an authentic breakfast with an original taste before you start your day off in the city!
If you havenât try Fatteh and hummus yet in Tripoli. Consider Akkra on your list to do. They have many locations in Tripoli, perhaps my advice is if you are a tourist visit the one in the old souk. It is in the old Tripoli market, and their first location. If you are Lebanese or you know Akkra, koura street has the best environment and employees. I havenât sit in this time, rather ordered to go at my friends office. So delicious and authentic food. It is really the best hummus you will have ever. Highly recommended.
