On a bus trip and wanted Mediterranean. Did not disappoint. Lamb meatballs were awesome and the tabouleh. Tried the Lebanese wine for a first and it was awesome. Am a red wine drinker and loved the ksara cuvée de printemps but loved the white massaya Blanc better

We've been to Mazza several times for lunch and dinner. Last night however, we were surprised and very disappointed with the 'Molo Khia" seasonal special. It is touted as a "hearty stew with chicken and mallow leaves." It was tasty, but there was almost no chicken in the serving. When we told the server that there were only a couple of tiny morsels of chicken in the stew, his response was, "that's the way it's supposed to be." For $24.00, this is not what we expect of Mazza. We have always enjoyed our meals there and we were disapointed by the skimpiness of the dish and the dismissive response of our server.

Enjoyed a variety of traditional Med apps - hummus, baba g, grape leaves, tadziki, olives. As good as any in SLC, good prices and prompt, bubbly service. Atmosphere is a bit dated.

We love Mediterranean food and were looking forward to our first visit to Cedars of Lebanon. The ambiance is ok, music nice. Very relaxing and calm. The service was just this side of ok, but nothing more. Pretty cursory. Our meal was pretty disappointing, as the food was under seasoned and, frankly, nothing special. I doubt that we'll ever go there again.

So we were SLCâs SugarHouse district and hungry, and besides, our teen kid and her buddies hang out here, so in we went. Funky, laid-back, rustic, huge timbered tables, mountain-lodge vibe all tucked into a mini-plaza across from a massive new seniors apartment complex. Great smile AND knowledgeable-about-the-menu greeting from the server-busser-cash register galâalways a good sign. Food concept described as Mediterranean Street Food with lots of beer options. The wrap is a Doner (mit umlaut over the âOâ), doner referring to a Turkish kebab. This doner resembles a massive stuffed burrito in shape and size, so I consumed half onsite, half at home the next day. Filled with hummus, kalamata olives, feta, romaine, cabbage, tomato, onion, green pepper, cucumber and tzatziki, oh my! My wife launched into The Doner Basket, featuring salad greens plus sweet potato waffle fries, tzatziki, feta, pepperoncinis, crispy garbanzo, olives, hummus and even a falafel ballâbut wait, thereâs more!âtomato, onion, green pepper and cucumber. The takeaway? Just about anything on the menu will serve two, and kudos to Spitz for its compostible AND recycleable take-out containers.

We wanted to try something different, and had never experienced Afghan cooking, so we followed the yelp reviews to Afghan kitchen. We shared a few dishes: The Mantu appetizer, the lamb Qurma, chicken Kabuli Palow, and the wonderful Naan to sop up the delicious sauces. Everything was great. Weâll be back to sample other dishes.

Fresh bread, smoky good baba ganoush, warm falafel, lemony fatoush, and delicious beef shawarma. I am so glad that I found this place with lots of vegetarian options for my sister and meat options for me! We love to come here for lunch and it's great to come with the whole family for dinner too. The restaurant is clean, the service is fast and the food is delicious

The meals were disappointing but the baba ghanouj with fresh pita, the stuffed grape leaves, the spinach encased in crust and the lamb sausage were the best! Veggie kabob wasn't marinated enough, vegies were hard, too large onion and base of green pepper.

First of all, the guy working the counter and the kitchen was exceptionally nice and was like Speedy Gonzales waiting on everyone by himself. Somebody did not show up. Luckily I came before the crowd. I came here because it was rated number one for Mediterranean food. Sounded amazing. I ordered the Berlin Doner. It was edible, but I did not like it. I got some taziki sauce to try to improve it. I usually love taziki sauce. Not good. Very young, hip place. Rap music played the whole time I was here. Make sure that's your thing. Menu is intruiging. Neat ideas. But I won't be trying anything else. I have never had Mediterranean food that I did not like before... Sorry to say
