A splendid little restaurant in south Manchester serving a wide range of Turkish and Middle Eastern cuisine. It’s in a good location within striking distance of public transport, shops, pubs/bars and cash machines. The list of food is fairly extensive so it’s best to check out the menu on the website of the restaurant, but it includes, lamb, chicken, seafood and vegetarian. The dish I tried was delicious and cooked to perfection. You can wash down your meal down with a variety of drinks including Turkish wine, which was rather nice. You can either sit in the restaurant part or order your food as take away. The staff were very friendly and the service swift and efficient. You didn’t have to wait long for your food.

Visited on a recommendation, wasn’t disappointed, the food was amazing and huge portions, as we had a starter each a main could of been shared, but what was left was bagged up for us to take home. The decor is basic, and lots of tables across 3 rooms. My only moan would be the toilets, they really need to be looked at, the fact one of the ladies loo doors would lock and I had to hold it closed for a young girl in which she returned the favour, pretty unacceptable in my eyes! Consider how busy the place is get someone to keep those loos clean and tidy on your busy nights......

Olive & Thyme is a Mediterranean cafe, bar and restaurant in the heart of Chorlton, offering freshly prepared food ranging from Mezes and Turkish Kebabs to Italian Pastas and Pizzas. Our unique venue is very spacious making it a comfortable and welcoming
Visited here through the week, it was warm enough to sit outside which was nice. Outside heaters if needed. There is ramp access. Great choice on the menu. Would recommend the sharing Meze platters if you can’t decide what starters to have, they are a good portion for two people as a starter. Mains are also good portion sizes. All food tasted delicious and not over seasoned. Prices were reasonable. Staff were polite and friendly. Would recommend.

My favourite restaurant in Urmston, ever since opening it has never disappointed, the food has always been top notch as you would expect, service is amazing, food comes in the correct time frame for a restaurant. Very spacious inside, nice decoration and menu has lots of variety.A good place if theres a big group to eat eg 10 or more and also very good for families and couples

Celebrating my sisters b-day, she wanted to go to Saray. Its a little intimate restaurant, cosy. I was a little cold at first but warmed up after an alcoholic drink. Sat near to another couple celebrating the husband b-day too. The food was delicious and so much of it that we couldn't finish it all. Staff were friendly and courteous throughout. At the end of the night, my sister and the gentleman celebrating their birthdays were presented with a cake and a chorus of 'Happy birthday', which was unexpected. It made the night for my sister, what a lovely gesture!

What can I saw about this place.Had dinner the other night, food too much garlic and beef very chewy. They also tried to charge us for drinks we didnt order. Was recommended this place by our neighbour , should have got a pizza instead. Avoid this place. Owner /chef very rude to my family member food is very average.Mr Maumau this is the second review you wrote for us, the first one was removed because you said that the owner gave you abuse true the app that you booked your table with and we don't have an app her at Zaytoon, now you have changed your wording a bit, what is the issue with you, you have never dined at Zaytoon Chorlton , if this review for another place where you have had an issue with ,you need to make sure it is for the correct location that you should be writing reviews. seriously get your act together or if you are writing the review for Zaytoon chorlton then all I can say that that your review again is a fib and does not affect our business.

We came because we'd never had Armenian food before...it didn't disappoint. We booked a table for two for a Saturday night a couple of weeks ago. Good job we did as the place was packed. It's very rustic in terms of the bits and bobs lying around...it was charming. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. We ordered the Goulash (lamb) and Mezalica (creamy chicken) and shared with some rice and bread on the side. The food was flavourful and clearly made with love and in an authentic manner. We followed our mains with Paklava...which I thought was going to be like filo baklava...it wasn't, but it was amazing! I might go as far to say that it was the best dessert I've had for years! It was not advertised as a sharing dessert, but I think it suited two people well and might be too much for one. We rounded our evening off with mint tea...very nice.We really enjoyed our visit and will go back the next time we're in the area.
