We celebrated my husband's birthday here last weekend and it was even better than we had expected. We were 30 people and had a five course meal, which included the traditional mazza starter, followed by scampi, duck on fig risotto, lamb with artichokes and their traditional dessert. The quality was excellent and everyone was served practically at the same time, despite us being 30 people. I had picked two South African wines from Beaumont, which went very well with the meal - Hope Marguerite and Mouvedre. The service was perfect. Rafi, the head waiter had organised everything perfectly and he and the two waitresses were always there when we needed them. We had the separate room at the back which was just the right size for our group and we didn't get in the way of the other guests. We left at about 2:30 am so it is clear that everyone had a good time!

Ate many time here when visiting hamburg, never had a bad meal. Would happily return if visiting the area again. The pastries they sell made for nice breakfast.
