Find out what Middle Eastern restaurants to try in Murray. Murray City (/ˈmʌri/ or locally /ˈmɜːri/) is a city situated on the Wasatch Front in the core of Salt Lake Valley in the U.S. state of Utah. Named for territorial governor Eli Murray, it is the state's fourteenth largest city. According to the 2010 census, Murray has approximately 46,746 residents. Once teeming with heavy industry, Murray’s industrial sector now has little trace and has been replaced by major mercantile sectors. While maintaining many of its own services, Murray has one of the lowest city tax rates in the state.

We are a family owned restaurant choosing authentic spices of Afghanistan to skillfully and subtly blend them following the oldest tradition that was passed down to us many generations to bring to life homemade recipes and provide you the heart and soul o
We wanted to try something different, and had never experienced Afghan cooking, so we followed the yelp reviews to Afghan kitchen. We shared a few dishes: The Mantu appetizer, the lamb Qurma, chicken Kabuli Palow, and the wonderful Naan to sop up the delicious sauces. Everything was great. Weâll be back to sample other dishes.

Enjoyed a variety of traditional Med apps - hummus, baba g, grape leaves, tadziki, olives. As good as any in SLC, good prices and prompt, bubbly service. Atmosphere is a bit dated.

Khan's Curry House is worth the short drive from Salt Lake. On a busy street (presently with construction work in progress), easy parking, and simply delicious food! Make sure you have naan with your meal. Straight off the oven, it's flaky and perfect to sop up the last few traces of curry sauce. On our last visit there we had a variety of chicken dishes--jalfrazee, green curry and another with a spicy red sauce. The owner is a warm and welcoming host; the cook, his wife, steps out several times to see how you are enjoying the food. Very inexpensive but worth going back to again and again
