I visited this place last summer and it was pretty packed for the buffet. The food was quite good, the options were not that extensive, but it was well worth it for the money.

On our first visit, we were unfamiliar with the various sauces available for the gyro sandwiches. The server gave us a small sample of each and we liked the zippy garlic. The sandwiches were generously filled with gyro, the garlic sauce, tomato, and a few french fries. We both ordered french fries as well and the fries appeared to be house made, crispy and plentiful. The restaurant is in the middle of a student housing area and the atmosphere is very casual. Disposable utensils are used. There is a special children's menu and the rest of the menu is quite broad. We ordered excellent baklava to take home. We'll definitely return.

This place is awesome. The service is tremendous. I went in once and the owner was working the register and talking to a customer. The customer didn't know what they wanted but were leaning toward the classic choices--he offered her anything else and promised that if she didn't like it he would make her something more familiar. That's a bold promise to make a customer, but he really cared about sharing his food with her. I've gone a few times, both eat in and take out, and have tried about half the menu and there's nothing on that menu that isn't delicious. There's no other place quite like Cairo 2 Go in Morgantown and it isn't just the Egyptian cuisine, it is staff who care about sharing their food with the community. Check this place out if you're looking for a quick lunch or dinner.Thank you Eightwednesday! I'm really happy that you enjoy your experience at our restaurant. International foods are scarce in Morgantown. Fortunately, a WVU PhD from the Middle East opened Kassar's decades ago to provide specialty foods and spices needed for Middle Eastern, Asian, SE Asian, Indian, and African cuisines sought by foreign students, researchers and faculty at WVU and very much appreciated by Americans who prepare international dishes. In addition to preserved, fresh, and frozen specialties, however, Kassar's offers freshly prepared Middle Eastern dishes and desserts for takeout or dining in the charming tea room at the back of the shop. Look carefully or ask about the restaurant, since it is not open during all hours that the shop is open and is not prominently located inside. The shop's owner and staff are delightful.

The food is delicious! My friend and I have been here several times and have ordered something new each time, and we've never been disappointed. The falafel, tawook sandwich, hummus and grape leaves are especially good. Staff is friendly, the place is clean, prices are decent.
