To be sure, Glendale has a plethora of great kabob places and Mediterranean restaurants. Still, few can equal the quality, convenience and reasonable prices Cafe Bravo offers. The platters are generous, the food quality consistently top-notch, and the service efficient. The kabobs are grilled to perfection and an array of sides, including my favorites, tzatziki and tabbouleh, complete a satisfying, reasonably priced meal. The place attracts both diners and takeout customers and can be extremely busy during lunch and dinner.

Came here while traveling with business associates. The lamb shimlik was very delicious. Nice saffron rice. Good hummus and pita, etc. I had the lemonade, and loved it. It was not overly sweet, and tasty.Overall, a very good meal. If back here, I will return.

Our entire menu of kabobs are offered either raw (to cook at home) or cooked to perfection in our kitchen and are accompanied with sides. We offer combo plates and wraps for individuals and family style catering solutions for larger events.
I found this place when my family had season passes to the LA Zoo and to this day, if I'm in the area, I always stop by. This place is unique in that u buy the meats in a butcher format pre-marinated allowing you to take home and cook if you like. But they will cook it too and add sides as a combo plate for 3 dollars more. I normally go with the latter.I've pretty much had all the meats here (including quail, which they didn't sell when I visted today). But my favorites are the chicken thighs, pork shish and the ground beef louleh (like a kafta). And as an added bonus, the bakery next door sells amazing meat boreks too!It means a lot that you still come by to see us! I'm thrilled that you've tried almost everything that we offer and have found a few favorites to throw into your combo. Can't wait to welcome you back for more tasty kabobs again soon!Warmly,Nick, Owner

Here you get the whole Lebanese/armenian experience. At least is great for smokers. Since california is in this whole "organic non-smoker city" this is a great escape. Food is good. But I didn't understand something. On the table we were 2 people. We ordered the appetizers. When 2 friends came they didnt bring more food but on the receipt they duplicate the price because now we were 4 people. Service should improve. I would go back but will be more careful on the bill. The music and entertainment is amazing. The ambience is enyojable.

I loved everything about Elenas! The chicken lamb and beef kebabs were so tasty and juicy. The salad that they gave us to start with was pickled and so delicious. And a garlic spread went with the homemade pita which was to die for! I will definitely go back to Elenas when I visit LA again!

We ate breakfast here on Sunday morning. Nice patio and friendly service. The food was very good. My husband had a breakfast panini and enjoyed it. I had the chicken sausage omlete. I loved the chicken sausage, would have eaten a few more pieces. I would recommend the chicken sausage if you stop here to eat.

You could drive past this place a million times and not notice it. It is just inside Glendale in a semi-industrial area just east of Burbank. The building itself is definitely pre-WWII. The current photo above is definitely not Adana. But the food is absolutely great. It is a Persian-Armenian restaurant which is much better than the more expensive ones in the rest of Glendale. We had a great beet and pomegranate salad which does not appear to be on the menu. The avocado salad was good too. There are all the regular kebab dishes of beef, lamb, or chicken, in chunks or ground. Every dish has a choice of two sides such as hummus, yogurt cucumber, pickle, barbecued tomato, or Persian salad. The portions are good and the prices are reasonable with only a couple of dishes over twenty dollars. This place is a real find.

My wife's dad is part Lebanese and she grew up on the cuisine. So they know their stuff. Skaf's is their new favorite restaurant. And definitely the best Lebanese restaurant they've taken me to (and that covers a lot of ground, in both Orange and LA counties). Everything is top notch, from the kebabs to the falafel to the babaganoush and even the hummus, which isn't usually something they rave about. Even the tabouleh, which of course isn't as good as what my mother-in-law makes, but comes close. Falafel is crunchy but still moist and flavorful on the inside. All the dishes are well and uniquely seasoned. The not-the-usual fare faves--the cabbage salad, which somehow transforms mere cabbage into something sublime (my wife make a meal of it), the spicy potatoes, the fried cauliflower. Staff is great, family run, very friendly and informative. There's no bar, but you can bring your own wine even though they don't advertise it.

My cousin turned me onto this place. We all met there prior to hitting a club and since it was Saturday, we had to go early to be out before the Dinner show at 8:00. There is ample pay parking behind the restaurant, and an entrance from the lot. We decided to stuff our faces with appetizers and pita. We got shwarama, baba ganouch, a salad and other yummies. There were 5 of us and we were able to enjoy cocktails and lots of food at about $20 a head. That's a relatively reasonable price for trendy Glendale. Everything was delicious. The service was lovely and we weren't rushed at all. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Saw on the Food Network so gave it a try. Parking across the street in pay lot for cheap. Possibly behind restaurant, too. Very big inside with all large tables under open air. Interior is family-style feel, not romantic and quaint. They give you pitas to start. Ordered hummus, which was good but not incredible. Tried lamb, chicken, and beef kabobs. The chicken (not ground) was by far the best out of all of them. Delicious! The rice is flavorful but they give you way too much. I like large portions but somewhat ridiculous. Good but probably would not return. Nothing so different compared to other restaurants nearby.
