Things to do in Dandenong
The meals here are quite simple but they are simply delicious. Tender charcoal cooked spiced meats with traditional rice, garden salad & crispy afghan bread. Everything is made in house and at a very reasonable price. There were some new faces behind the counter at our last visit but not much has changed, the rice was a little different (still awesome), the meat seemed slightly spicier but there is a cooling yogurt dip now.I've been to a few Afghan/kebab places in the area and if you're looking for a delicious, simple meal at low cost then this is the place to choose.

This is the second time I have eaten at this restaurant. To be fair the food is average, prices are reasonable. The customer service is beyond words and care factor of staff is zero. They charge for water which is bottled and don't provide tap water. Unless you specify you don't want the water they will charge. It is Coles brand water which is 99 cents at Coles and hey charge 1.50Definitely worth giving this place a miss
Delicious banquet with a group of workmates. We all left licking our lips and with full bellies. Food was plentiful and service was excellent with every effort made to please. If it's Lebanese food you're after this is the place to try.

Located on Thomas St in Dandenong and open from 10-10pm. This joint offers fresh food with a great value. A mix plate include 3 types of Kabab which offers complimentary chicken soup, yoghurt dip, chutney, fresh plate of salad, fresh hot baked bread and 4 delicious skewers of kabab all for $14. Give it a try please.
Little Bad Wolf is a postmodern Mediterranean 100% Halal friendly restaurant that offers Middle Eastern food with a fusion of contemporary spices. Our modish servings include a range of grill, burgers, wraps, plates and wolf packs.
Have been here many times and are never disappointed. Great Lamb and Chicken Kebabs as well as Cevapi. Fantastic selection of fresh dips. We often eat in or order for a group of us at lunch for pick up. Friendly staff and funky decor in the shop. All food is cooked fresh. Little Bad Wolf has become our favourite kebab place.

With the higher rating Afghan restaurant nearby closed for lunch, we walked a few doors up to Afghan Tasty Food for lunch today. We had a plate of minced lamb and veg dumplings topped with a lentil sauce and topped again with a yoghurt sauce, and a lovely saffron, orange and pistachio that came with two big, delicious koftas in a yummy sauce in a separate bowl. All simple, but absolutely delicious food, that we really enjoyed. The restaurant is really clean and service was very friendly.

Upstairs restaurant and no shop front to speak of. Decor is comfortable and room is spacious. Water provided at table on arrival. It is a BYO restaurant and drinks selection was limited to soft drinks and a good selection of tea. Chose the banquet to get a range of dishes. Some dishes really stood out and were very tasty with nice flavours, some less so. I thought the dips were a little nondescript with and could have been more flavoursome. Warm bread was excellent. Quantity of food was ample and wait staff asked if we wanted more of any specific dish if we desired. Service was really friendly and attentive.
From the outside, it looks no different to any other kabab/charcoal chicken/takeaway type shop. Not especially exciting to look at, but what flavour awaits! We looked it up after my dad recommended it. He doesn't recommend places easily, so we were pretty keen to try it.We both ordered lamb skewers, which were divine! For around $15 per meal we got 4 big skewers of the most amazing, flavoursome lamb I've ever had. There is also a salad (nothing to get excited about) and big pieces of freshly cooked flat bread with 2 different dipping sauces, 1 spicy, 1 yogurt based. We probably could have shared a meal, but didn't want to! I'm getting hungry just thinking about it!! We left stuffed full but it was so good, we didn't want to waste any. The eating area reminds me of a cafeteria type setup. Again, nothing fancy but this place is just all about the food! Trust me, you NEED to try it!!!!

Afghan Rahimi Restaurant boasts traditional Afghani Cuisine with over 30 years of experience between the two chefs Rahimi and Hayat. With immaculate marble tables and wooden chairs, the ambiance allows for fine dining while experiencing traditional flavou
We found this beautiful Afghani restaurant and were greeted warmly. The decor is very elegant traditional Afghan style. We ordered the first banquet menu and were served a delicious range of dishes. The rice was extraordinary with each grain separated and full of flavour. My other favourites were the eggplant, Labna and the chicken skewers. More food than we could finish and each dish wonderful. The owner was very generous, explaining the lengthy process of creating the rice dish.

Whoever gave positive feedback they havenât eaten the real afghan food. By the looks it this restaurant seems very nice but the food is discusting. Kebabs r not chewable. The bread is cold. Salad was not fresh. Donât waste your money going even trying.
