We are located at the intersection of Hwy 13 and Nicollet Avenue in Burnsville, across from the Burnsville Performing Arts Center. Free parking in our lot and the ramp across the street. We are also adjacent to Nicollet Commons Park.
We came for a Sunday brunch. We waited what seemed like forever for someone to show up behind the host desk. Finally, when we were seated, no one showed up to ask about drinks, etc. When a server arrived we ordered mimosas. We finally gave up on them and went to the buffet. At the buffet, about a third of the items were empty or almost so. After our plate of entrees, the mimosas finally arrived. We have been to this restaurant twice before for dinner off of the menu. The food was good and the service was about average. We may try the dinner again, but we can't recommend the buffet. Can't imagine what the buffet is like during the week when many people need to go back to work afterwards -- must be three or four o'clock!

Food wasn't the only thing on the owners' minds when conceiving Aida. Transforming a scuzzy old Taco Bell into something a little more upscale and making this the neighborhood hangout is also a priority. Whatever you order, rest assured that your food com
Aida has become our stop for Mediterranean-- made-to-order, generous portions, great sauces, and a nice selection of options. My go-to is the grilled-vegetable plate; I know it's good when my teenage son asks for pieces of cauliflower. Also have a soft spot for their larger-chunk tabouli. The entrees give you plenty of food; go for the sandwich option if you want less or split 2 different plates between 3-4 people, mixing up sides and sauces. Another way to save is to go during lunchtime; there's usually a good-value special.Note that soft-drink options are somewhat limited-- don't expect large sizes and plentiful free refills of fountain soda or juices; plenty of water at the condiment stand. Also keep in mind there is a limited, front-of-house-only seating area only, and that the made-to-order food won't be out within 5 minutes; we've endured waits of 20+ minutes when 3+ orders were ahead of us.
