Western Armenian restaurant where joy and happiness are existing. A story which started with Mount Ararat to be continued at Chez Hratch,With the authentic food and atmosphere of the Kilikian empire.
Basically decided to eat here because I had just arrive in Yerevan, was tired and my AirBnb was around the corner. Turned out to be a fantastic place. it was already booked for most of the night but they could still accommodate me. Menu was Armenian / Middle East. Took the house special (tiny meatball with cherry) which was a combination I had never tasted before: super yummy all the way. Also had a tasteful salad and some humus + aubergine paste as a side dish. Dessert was Armenian Baklava. Not as sweet as its Turkish cousin, and therefore I loved it. Turned out that the cook was the mother of the 2 guys serving, and they gave me another piece for free because I enjoyed the first one so much. Staff were super friendly and super easy-going. If I ever return to Yerevan, I would eat here again on my first night.

First established in Beirut, Mayrig restaurant is renowned in the middle east for their foods. We were a group of six and we all enjoyed an extensive meal sharing appetizers and main dishes. Tavern "Old Zangezur", founded in December 2013, became a popular and pleasant place, not only for people from Zangezur, but also for the residents and guests of the capital. Our main goal was to unite people from Zangezur in Yerevan, as well as to restor
So glad we left this place in time. When we arrived the only tables taken where a large tour group finishing their meal. When we were ordering the waitress was short and of the four things we wanted to order two were not available. She goes on to tell us that the kitchen is very busy and we should only order barbecue. We question her seeing as the tour group was leaving and we were the only ones left in the restaurant. She literally was trying to get us out of the restaurant before we even had a chance to order. Then when we said we needed a few minutes she started saying âwhat is the problem?â very aggressively. When I explained that she didnât have some things we wanted she stormed off and thatâs when we decided to leave. This place is only for tourists. Luckily we went to the Tavern only 2 minutes walking distance. The food there was excellent and the same prices for a much fancier place. Do yourself a favor do not go here. I cannot personally attest for the food but when the tour group left the amount of food left behind was a telling sign that is was not very good. Thank you for review:) If you test our dushies, you don't write this review.

The restaurant is verry famous it was recommended by our armenian friend. The restaurant receive his customer by booking only, as a tourist i tried to book more than one time but unfortunaly the reply is always full. The question is It is really fully booked or this is a marketing strategy.I cant talk about the food or service but i can tell you that i couldnt make a booking Dear Antoine,Thank you for the feedback. That' a pity that you have not got chance to be in our Restaurant. We would like to mention that as we are usually busy, guests are making in advance reservation via phone, mail,Facebook.Days and hours also depend,so it is not only by booking. It is difficult to find vacant table especially for lunch time, evenings hours, holidays. The central location of the Restaurant and wide windows give chance even to passers- by see what is going on inside. So it is very easy to judge whether it is really fully booked or a marketing strategy. If you are in Yerevan and still interested in visiting us ,could you please provide us with your contact number via e/m [email protected] .We will arrange accordingly. We do hope to have the opportunity to host you.Sincerely,Armenuhi HovhannisyanCustomer Relations Manager Sherep Restaurant

Everything starts with adzoukh. This is our philosophy. The most basic of cuisines is one prepared on a fire billowing out of adzoukh (charcoal). We are returning to the roots of man by providing the most basic cuisine made to perfection: Western Armenian

If you want to organize rest for your kid in the lap of the nature with delicious food and loads of interesting games it is not obligatory to go to the countryside at all. A few minute-ride from the center next to Sport and Concert complex after K. Demirc
I was a birthday guest. The hosts of the party reserved a table in El garden kids zone (open-air). The birthday had to begin at 4 p.m. I came at 3:30. Our table was already served, BUT!!! a flock of birds was eating our food, because the food was not covered. After I saw that, I ate nothing. Besides that, in the straw under the table were pieces of garbage remaining from the previous birthday, also spoons, candies, pieces of bread, etc. Waiters were too slow. We had to wait for a bottle of water for 40 minutes. For a place where you have to pay 5000 AMD just for child's entrance, this is too bad. This place is just like other kid's cafes in Yerevan, I mean, terrible. Unfortunately, a week later I was again invited to the same place, but indoors. No soap in the restrooms. Ugly food. Armenian cheese plate smelled badly. Pizzas looked promising, but the reality was that I got sick after that evening. Plus, too much noise for a little place. Never again. Thanks.Dear Guest, Thank you for having taken your time to provide us with your valuable feedback relating to your visit. We are sorry that you didn't enjoy your time at our Kid's Zone area because of bad service. We ensure you that we will do our best to find out what was the problem and why our waiters didn't take proper care of your order. Once again sorry for any inconvenience caused. We do hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the nearest future and provide you with a better experience.
