A friend took me to eat there and I was surprised that they had several menu items I would order more than once. If you like big burgers, the one-pounder was excellent and a good value. The seafood platter was good. The baked potato with BBQ was only average at best.

Arrived in Wharton two hours early and hungry so off to eat on the riverside. Meet at front door very politely and seated immediately. Server suggested queso and it was spot on with extra diced onions. We shared a platter and not only was the food outstanding but the amount was perfect for two senior citizens. So come on in and enjoy this place we will be backChef Gene

How can you screw up fajitas? You over season / over salt then? The charro beans looked like watered down pork and beans and tasted bad too. The best part of the meal was the free queso that comes with the meal. I got a fried avocado which was terrible.
