Not what we are used too, must be spoiled with good Mexican food. Sorry we didn't go to Taco Bell. Waitress was very nice and helpful, but that couldn't make up for the disappointing food.

This little place is tucked away and did not see it from the road..just happened across it...but it is worth the stop! Very small, but very friendly staff and the food was well worth the stop. I had the chicken quesadilla...fantastic! My sister got the chicken burrito, which was absolutely huge. Chips & salsa come with the meal. Great value and very authentic!

Eldorado Seafood is a Mexican style restaurant that specializes in seafood dishes. The shrimp dishes were particularly good, especially the grilled and fried shrimp tacos. Each taco was stuffed with large succulent shrimp. The tilapia fish was also delicious. Most lunch and dinner entrees are served with a generous portion of Mexican style rice. Service was friendly and prompt, and they are not stingy with their chips and salsa.

The criteria used are: quality of meat, size of burger, style of burger, cooked to order request and overall pricing.I am half-assed backwards when it comes to my burgers. I like them rare/medium and my fries well done and crispy. In my criteria, the fourth place for best cheeseburgeer would to an unlikely contender.. Del Taco. Their Double Dell is a tasty little burger. The patties and burger is much smaller than the other drive-thrus, but the flavor and consistency makes up for it.

I cannot believe this restaurant has no reviews, let me just say, if you’re looking for AUTHENTIC Mexican food, THIS IS THE PLACE!!It’s not fancy, it’s a bit on the pricey side, not much English spoken here, but this place is clean, good service, casual, friendly and the food is fantastic, hence the 5 star rating!! Do not look for Americanized Mexican food......NO Guacamole! Lots of fish dishes, very fresh!I had the Fish and Shrimp Ceviche, medium size (huge), excellent! We also had Carne Tacos and Shrimp Empanadas. This is absolutely a must do if you like authentic Mexican food!

We came here after staying close by for a Lagoon Trip. I have to say the agua de Manacuya(?) was really good. It reminded me off mix between pineapple and guava. For my meal I had the Tortilla Soup. It was the best version I have ever had. From the house made tortillas made by hand to the roasted chicken, you could tell this was something on par with what you would see from grandmas kitchen. I highly recommend it especially on a cold day like the one we were experiencing on our visit. The tacos on the other hand were not quite as good. The meat was well chopped which is significant especially when. You have kids. However there was something about the seasoning that left an aftertaste. We will comeback just not for tacos. I gave the place a 4 because the soup and service was that good regardless of the asada tacos.

La Frontera

Reviewed By Brightpool

On Monday, May 30, 2016, my wife and I took her son and daughter to La Frontera for a family dinner after we visited their Dad and paternal grandmother’s graves.La Frontera has been on that corner for many years, so the parking lot and building make it look like they might not be open. Even so, they are open and doing well, from what we could see. It wasn’t full during our visit later than the usual lunch time, but it wasn’t empty, either. The waitress was fairly new to the restaurant, but she was careful to ask the right questions to get our order right. My wife and step-daughter both like certain things on the side, and our waitress asked to be sure she understood which things needed to be served separately. The food was good, as always. We did get only a small handful of chips to dip into their salsa, so they could have done more.I had the day’s special, but after seeing the three smothered burrito combination my son-in-law had, I made a mental note to order that one next time. We all enjoyed our meals and will definitely go to La Frontera, again, whether it’s this one in West Valley or the one nearer to our home in Sandy. The one thing that I would say marred our visit was when I went to check out. The cashier let me wait for several minutes at the cash register while he went to discuss our waitress’s way of filling out a ticket. He said that her way of doing it didn’t make the total obvious, even when I pointed it out to him. He mentioned that he had been there just over a month and that she had started just about a week before our visit, and she needed to learn how to fill out a ticket. I was surprised that he made all those observations and complaints in front of a customer. I think he could have done just as well by saying only that he needed to take a minute to clarify something with the waitress, not all the issues he had with her way of doing things. I think I would have felt less concern about having to wait those few minutes if he had kept the dirty laundry to himself.Even so, when we are in the area, we’ll just as likely head for La Frontera, again, as we usually do. When you hunger for Mexican food and you are in the neighborhood, be sure to drop in and enjoy a meal there, too.Tip: The entrance is just barely west of the intersection of Bangerter Highway and 3500 South, so be sure to turn north into the parking lot just before (east of) their sign and the building.

This is the closest location to me but I guess I am going to just drive to other locations. The burritos here are actually smaller. And they are just sloppy. During one occasion, as the burrito was being folded all the beans fell out, so all the beans were not in my burrito. The burritos taste fine but might as well drive to another location for a better (bigger) burrito.

I loved the variety of meats, salsas, and toppings available at this all-you-can-eat taco bar. The al pastor was particularly good, as was the chipotle chicken. The tacos were true to the Mexican street taco tradition in every detail. The line to fill up your plate can get a bit crowded at times, but the staff are friendly and the food is exceptional. The new sister restaurant in Ogden (12th Street) is equally good and has more space to move around when it gets busy.
