La Pinata came highly recommended by two our our fellow diners and they were spot on with their review. Having made reservations, we were greeted and seated immediately. Our server was wonderful. Very pleasant and patient while we perused the exhaustive menu. The margaritas were amazing and prepared to our individual liking. We enjoyed our entrees immensely. I ordered the Molcajete and it was extraordinary. It came to the table still boiling away in the vessel. The flavors were so fresh and authentic, the serving size generous. The decor was traditional and fun with a particular preponderance for pinatas aplenty. A great meal all around. We will be back soon.
This location just recently opened. Mexican is one of my favorite ethnic foods. I arrived 10 mins after they opened their doors making me their first customer of the door and allowing me to time to make small talk with the owner (?) Al whose from So. Cali. Thatâs a âGreen Flagâ in case you didnât know. Al is very personable and helpful. Great first impression. I ordered UP trying several different menu items including a taco trio (three different proteins), fried chicken quesadillas (OMG Iâm never buying pizza again!! These things are ridiculous!!! Fried chicken, bacon & cheese!! Also tried a steak burrito, a chicken chimichanga, a mushroom burger & Portuguese burger; both with hand cut fries. The burrito & chimichanga were huge. The ingredients delicious. Had to cut them in half. The large burgers are cooked to order & the temp was spot on. Great toppings. The fries were seasoned well, crisp and delicious. A 100% positive experience in a Mexican restaurant east of the Mississippi!!! Wooooo hooooo. I must include a warning with this review. Al gave me a sampling of his personal salsa in a small container. I added a modest amount to a taco. Oh my freaking god!! The hottest pepper sauce ever. My eyes were bleeding!! Ghost pepper on steroids!! I dare ya!! I double dog dare ya !!!

We went because our grandkids wanted the at your table guacamole. Amazingly it was not available. Our Enchellata "Surpreme" was sort of dry and needed more sauce. On the other hand the large margarita for $8 was worth the money. I don't think we'll be back.
