When the Spaniards settled among the Indians of Central America during the 16th Century, they brought with them the traditions and heritage of the Mediterranean world. The Indians they found in Mexico were themselves inheritors of great traditions handed
Still visiting Jose's in Warren as my 'go to' Mexican restaurant as mentioned in a previous review. Did a take-out order this time. REALLY enjoy the salsa and guacamole that Jose's serves. Our most ordered items are the chicken quesadilla and the carnitas. The chicken soup, black bean soup and gazpacho soup are all good.

I stopped in here to pick-up lunch while my kids were in school and got a big box of crunchy beef tacos and cinnamon twists. I sometimes get the Crunchwrap Supreme and the frozen drinks which are good, gorditas are also good now and then. Anyway, my order was correct and delicious. I won't hesitate to return to this location which is the closest one to my home.

Great food! I gave this 5 stars because I have eaten at other Mexican Fast food (ex: chipotles). I think you get a better quality of food for the same price or maybe better. I had the fish Taco that they cook as I was waiting. I canât wait to go back. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

Dunellen is tiny borough in central NJ.There is nothing worth mentining about this this borough except the beautiful, large old time houses on South Washington avenue. In the past decade, a good number of Latinos have moved in there and as as result, shops and small eateries catering to them have comeup. However, the atmospher in and around is such that you won't feel comfortable going to these. Therefore, although had seen this place literally hundreds of time and wanted to give it a try, I never went beyond thinking.Last Friday, it was very heavily raining and therefore instead of going far, I decided to give this place a try.We were greeted nicely. The waiter was also courteous and friendly. The food was average, nothing out of the box .Also, this is a BYOB place.Thank you for your review.
