The taste of the food is very good. However, on the day we ate there the food was not served hot. The waitress came out with the dishes picking up each with a rag saying âhot dish.â Truthfully, the plates were cold (an infant could not have burned his hand) and the food barely warm. Best thing about the meal was the Sr lunch price after 4:00 pm. Portions were just the right size for a senior.

Visited this site for breakfast after seeing good reviews. The service was great as the hostess greeted us immediately and the server was very attentive throughout the entire meal. However, the food was average at best-and a little cold. And the bathrooms were terrible - not clean at all! Will not be going back to this place.

My wife and I stopped by this Torchy's in Tyler and we're familiar with them since we've gone to them in the Austin area. We split the green chili quest & chips that is really outstanding. Lots of calories, but incredibly good. My wife ordered one of the breakfast tacos and I ordered the taco of the month that had an Asian flair. Both were excellent. The service was fast and friendly and the prices are decent.

My mom and I eat at Abueloâs every time we go to Tyler. The food is consistently delicious! I enjoy the three salsas you get with chips- thereâs a mild red, a green sauce thatâs slightly sweet with pineapple, and a spicy red. My mom ordered a margarita there- I only took a sip because I was driving- but it was THE BEST Iâd ever tasted. Itâs called the El Jefe. My favorite lunch item is the Tilapia Vera Cruz. Oh so good! Friendly service, great food- try it, you will love it!

We found Mamaâs thru Trip Advisors. From the outside looking at it we probably would not of stopped, but we did and it was great! We had chicken fried steak with hash browns, scrambled eggs, and pancakes huge portions. Also enjoyed Rancheros with retried beans & rice, that were excellent as well, had a little kick to them. We will go back.

Mercados has been in Tyler since I was very young. The quality of service and food has not declined during its long history. The ownership of this restaurant must have impeccable judgement choosing management to maintain this quality. Easily the best texmex food and environment in Tyler. Highly recommended, it will never disappoint.

We were wanting some good Mexican food * Wrong place to go. Ordered Flautas and Enchiladas the Flautas were maybe at the most 2" long no sauce no guacamole (these were not the appetizers but the meal) just 2 tine Flautas with lots of Jalapenos on a plate. Enchiladas has chicken no cheese in or on them. And they were cold / warm like that had been sitting out for a while **Gross. Paid way too much for what we got. Never Again. There are too many good places I will not try this one again

Enjoyed dinner at Villa Montez with Friends and had a wonderful meal and visit together. The men both enjoyed the Margarita Shrimp entree and the Ladies enjoyed the Chicken Milanese and the Chino Latino Rolls. Great atmosphere too!
