A friendly place that blends the energy and flavours of Mexico with the beach vibe of Torquay. Great Mexican food and perfect margaritas!
Great food with authentic Mexican flavours with an upmarket menu rather than a traditional menu. Everything we had was amazing, the pumpkin entree & the lamb in the banana leaf was amazing. They do pretty good cocktails too. Service was excellent.

Booked a table for 9 people 6.00pm. Arrived to be told no booking, had booked the night before! Yes people make mistakes but the guy we dealt with was sarcastic, dismissive and sent us on our way with a âhave a great night â! As a local I will never support this place or Roku Den as I dropped into the see the chef who owns both restaurants and he was equally dismissive. Will not visit either of these restaurants again and will tell anyone who asks my advice the same. Hi Lulucole,We understand your frustration with that evening as it was a mistake on our part. Our staff had placed the booking on a different night and we apologised as best we could. As that moment, all we could offer were our tables in the laneway under the heaters, as nothing else was available. Unfortunately that wasn't an option that would suit your party and we regrettably couldn't accommodate you better. I'm sorry you felt my staff and I myself were dismissive. I couldn't offer a better solution other than what the staff suggested and being at a different location at the time made it difficult. Our sincerest apology.

Finally a place in Torquay that doesnât scream âyuppy mumâ or âcashed up boganâ. Tucked away near the library and the skatepark is this amazing little joint, what more does one need? Let me tell you... value for money! Donât be a sucker and fork out 25 bucks for fake Phò, go and get yourself a scrumptious burrito or colourful plated delicious grilled fish for 20. The service is the best in town, the cheff is a peach and I am gunna say BEST RESTAURANT IN TORQUAY, and Iâm local!
Couple had a cheap romantic drive to Torquay and felt like Mexican takeaway for lunch beside beach. Enchilada chicken plus Burrito steak, both superb. All fresh flavours, tasty and filling. Definitely shall return and might even courageously order the extremely hot salsa beside. Well done surf amigos!
