This is a typical TexMex. We restricted ourselves to margaritas (quite good), guacamole (also good) and the chips (supermarket quality) and salsa (nothing exeptional. Pricess are on the high side for this kind of place.
Where to eat American food in Stillwater: The Best Restaurants and Bars

My daughter and I decided to try this new Mexican restaurant in downtown Stillwater. It was a Thursday about 12:45. Not busy. Only had 5 tables occupied and a couple people at the bar. Food was good but nothing special. I had a mushroom quesadilla and my daughter had the Mahi Mahi tacos. Smaller portions but we werenât overly hungry so it was fine. Prices seemed a little high for what you got. Atmosphere was ok. A little stuffy for me. Our waiter, Andy, was not friendly. In fact, when my daughter asked him his opinion between two different items, his reply was he wouldnât choose either one. Ok then. Service was very slow also for not being busy. Long wait for our orders to be taken, and then once we got our food and were done eating, long wait for the bill. Never was asked how our food was. No refill on my soda. Not sure what the problem was. But quite honestly, I doubt Iâd ever go back. Not impressed.

The design of the space here manages both to be open and to give a sense of privacy for each table. The service was very friendly, too. We went because of the cheese dip on the menu, and it was very good, too! Oh, and huge screens around so you can keep up with all your sports news!
There is something missing. I think it is flavor. Upon closer look, I see there is very little meat in the burrito. Their salsa is good.
At Taco John's®, we serve traditional Mexican food-with a twist. By fusing bold American flavors with south-of-the-border spice, we've defined our signature menu. From our trademark Potato Olés® and freshly prepared tacos to our infamous breakfast burrito
I can't help it! I just love me a bean burritto with extra beans, no onions, add lettuce and those yummy, yummy potato ole's are sinful, but delish!
