This is our favorite Mexican Restaurant. The food at most Mexican restaurants look and taste the same. This one is very good. Before the meal they serve the traditional chips and salsa but they also serve a bean dip with it. The helpings are plentiful and the food is flavorful. The rice served with your meal is very good. When we want Mexican, this is our first choice.

maddie was amazing remembered us..food was consistant came out hot very tasty great choices good cheap eats very pleased will eat here again
I've always enjoyed dropping in Chipotle for a carryout, but am really disappointed they moved into the lot of Tri-County Mall. For some reason, it no longer seems convenient even though its just as close as the old location. I think this is because the mall does not have an easy entrance and exit. Anyway, I've stopped there once since they moved - I used to drop in once every couple of weeks...

Avoid this restaurant for two reasons: First, they refused to honor my restaurant.com gift certificate that states it doesn't expire. Stated "we haven't taken those in a long time". Well, restaurant.com still had my Taco Laco certificate as active and restaurant.com certificates don't expire. If restaurants aren't accepting the certificates anymore, then restaurant.com put an "i" in a blue circle by the certificate in your account. My certificate was listed as active and should have been accepted by Taco Laco. It is not right for a restaurant to change their mind about taking the certificates after a customer has paid money for the certificate. You offer it, the customer buys it, you accept to it. That is the only right thing to do. After much agruing with the owner, he gave me what I paid for the certificate, but I lost the promotional value. I will not be back!Second reason to avoid this place. It is not very clean. Floor looked like it hadn't been mopped in ages. Food on the food in the entry way. Really? Salsa served in ketchup bottles that didn't really look very clean. Weeds in the landscaping, wood falling off the building, paint peeling. Appearance means a lot. Many other Mexican restaurants in Cincinnati.

Dos Amigos has been serving delicious and authentic Mexican food in Cincinnati, Ohio since 2005. Try our house-made specialities, margaritas and more, today!
Be very specific when ordering a drink, if you do not point and show them on the menu which drink you want, you will be charged for the "cadillac drink", 1 chicken fajita dinner, 1 burrito dinner and two margaritas = $73.48...at our regular place usually cost $48.

This place was formerly the Blue Agave, which had some very good Mexican dishes. The new ownership keeps a lot of the same ambiance and decor, and it appears to be truly authentic Mexican, not American-ized. I came here with a co-worker for lunch. I ordered the chicken chimi which is my normal go-to when I'm trying new places. It's always good to be able to compare. Service was a little slow but when I saw it, I knew why. It was probably the largest chimichanga I have ever seen. Very crispy tortilla, which was perfect. The chicken was diced, not shredded, and mixed with a little seasoning to give a little kick. Finally smothered in a smooth quest. Absolutely delicious, but I had a hard time eating all of it for a lunch dish. The chips are multi-colored which I thought was a nice touch, and light and crispy. All in all, I'd say it was a delightful experience, and I would certainly come back. Ample parking. Highly recommended.

Came here with a business associate for a lunch. My lunch consists of a chicken chimi whenever I try a new Mexican grill or cantina. It makes for a good comparison and a fair judgement of each place. This one was very good served with plenty of warm queso. What I really liked were the chips and salsa. The chips are very light, crispy and tasty, too. Very different than the heavy thick chips served at most Mexican establishments. My associate had the taco salad and he raved about that as well. The owners seem to be very hands on and concerned with your satisfaction of the food. Unfortunately, we could not imbibe on the ritas this time. I would recommend the place and I would come back.

Came in for lunch two times this week. I will be in several more times until I have tried the entire menu...then I will start over. Authentic and wonderful...and plenty of it...for very little money. You will not leave hungry. My only negative is that the service could be a little friendlier.

My family has eaten here twice so far, and we will be coming back. When first looking at the menu, the prices seem high; but after receiving large portions of great-tasting food, you realize it is well worth the price. This last visit, my wife & I shared an order of fajitas, and we still had leftovers! The decor is very colorful and interesting as well, and traditional Mariachi-style music completes the atmosphere.

We had both steak fajitas. They were cooked and season well. Unfortunately our drinks ran dry more than once. There was only five other tables occupied at the time. Maybe an off day for the server, so we will be back and try again
