We loved the vibe and atmosphere and enjoyed being here. However, our dinner menu selection of enchiladas and burritos was very unremarkable and the prep and presentation was indistinguishable from just about any Mexican restaurant. Certainly âokâ. I guess our expectations were too high based on the reviews of others. In all fairness we need to try some of their specialties next time to compare. Nonetheless, I would expect a highly rated restaurant to ânail itâ with basic Mexican dishes.

Ok, so their shrimp and scallop burrito is incredible. Best burrito I've ever had, but they have a varied menu that can please just about anyone. I like their carnitas, as well as their asada. The place is super casual and relaxed. Always reliable and great for those nights when cooking seems like too much effort.

Absolutely the best service. Incredibly attentive. We were a large group and they did a remarkable job. Jaime was outstanding. Food was very good. Everyone enjoyed the meal. Will definitely be back. Mole is good and so are the enchiladas rancheras. Nothing fancy. Just good old Mexican food at great prices

First visit with friends to this Mexican restaurant. Itâs located in a secluded area in Pasadena where free parking is ample!! Greeting was warm and friendly, service was excellent and the food was very good. Unexpectedly, they have a buffet on weekdays which is loaded with a wide variety of Mexican food, salad and dessert. One of us had the buffet and the rest of us ordered off the menu. The fried ice cream is huge, delicious and shareable! Also, I brought my husband homemade menudo and the deluxe burrito. He said they both were very good. I will go back to this restaurant again and recommend it if youâre looking for home-made Mexican food.

We ordered the two piece meal with thigh and leg without a drink. The two sides we ordered were coleslaw and rice with corn tortillas. As usual, the food was good with salsa, avocado sauce, cilantro. They have a Senior discount. The cashier, Will, was pleasant and asked if we wanted a glass of water while waiting. The place was fairly clean. I and many others really miss the BBQ beans that they used to serve. At times, parking can be difficult to find a space so I usually get there at 11 am or 5 pm before the crowds. Nice neighborhood place to go
