We stopped by here for a late dinner (9:50pm) right before they closed. they did not mind and were friendly and attentive. I always get burritos and what i got (with red snapper) was delicious - tasty, juicy and not too much rice. My husband got the fish tacos and they were great as well.

It is a small place across the Bayfair Mall, where it has a Michaels store. We went there based on a friend's recommendation. An order of tacos has three tacos. All orders come with a side of chips and dips. The burrito was big and very filling.Would come back if in the area.
This is a hard review to write simply because it's hard for me to understand it myself. Because of it's location so close to a service we used we chose this restaurant. The first experience was so good that when we went back to that location we chose the same restaurant and the wife chose the same entrée. Totally different experience. Our first server was there without being on top of us, and the second server would come back to the table if we flagged her down. The first server suggested boxes for the leftovers and we had to ask the second server for them. The first server remembered what beverages we had ordered and asked if we'd like refills as she saw they were getting to the 1/4 full, the second server asked us what it was we were drinking when we asked for refills after the glasses were empty. We'll probably go back, but it will be in hopes of getting the same cook / server team that we had the first time. My fingers are crossed!
Mama Lupe's is a very friendly neighborhood restaurant. We are always greeted with a smile. They have open seating, and serve flavorful Mexican food. I like the Shrimp quesadilla, as it is enough for a full meal, as are their burritos. Sometime I will order the meal (traditional two enchiladas, salad, beans and rice), and enjoy this also as they are never too spicy.

I ate one of the most amazing wet burritos I have ever consumed. It's a wonderful restaurant with friendly staff and great food. I highly recommend giving it a try.

Visiting the fam around the corner and found this sweet little place. Very good food and super friendly employees. I got food to go and we each had something different from Chile Relleno to beef tacos to chicken enchiladas to pork something-or-other. All 4 of us were happy with our choices. Their sides of black beans and rice were killer! (they also have refried pinto beans if you prefer)

A little pricey but I still have to rate the food.I had a menudo and it had a lot of tripe which is good, but I don't have the acquired taste for it.The wife you had a pork quesadilla and it was just the right size and she said it was surprisingly good.
Ok this is by far the best Mexican place for me. Im very picky with my Mexican food but this is the best. Its a very small place just like 4 tables but its totally worth it. At first you might be like ah a bit hesitant but trust me. They have the usual Mexican food you know, tacos, tortas, quesadillas, buritos etc, but they also have other plates that are specific to certain states in Mexico. For example they have Pambasos which are like 2 levels above a usual torta. They have Enchiladas Michuacanas they are the best and they serve on the weekends Menudo. They make their own tortillas, good portions. I recommend this place to everyone.
