We had wanted to try Adobe Gilas for awhile and finally, we were able to on a Saturday on our way to a convention at the convention center. The staff was very nice and efficient, and the space was attractive, especially with the large windows overlooking the ice rink below. We also liked the beer list featuring local brews, but the waitress didn't know much about the beers or what was available on tap if only a brewery was listed. Once we ordered, the food came extremely quickly. Our meals were average. Not a lot of flavor. I ordered the cheese quesadilla, which was plump with cheese but no additional seasonings and hubby had chicken enchiladas. Again, not a lot of flavor. This being said, we were eyeing others' tacos so we'll give them another try for something else on the menu. They validate parking, also, another perk of the restaurants in the entertainment district.

Excellent counter order style food. The Tortaâs are excellent. Tried the tortilla salad with shrimp, it comes in chipotle chicken and crispy chicken, braised or pulled pork or beef. It was flavorful and gull of Pueblo chili and avocado. The lime dressing makes it all work. Will come again.

Was at O'Hare waiting for my flight to Sacramento. Stopped at Burrito Beach and had a breakfast burrito and a soda. I like to get the burritos this way since you decide exactly what you want on it and how much. Served hot and quickly and I was on my way. Very good sandwich and it is always good to get them this way so it is something different. Certainly was a very good stop!

I have eaten here several times for lunch and the service is quick and the food is delicious. This was very inexpensive for the quality of food and our service has always been quick and efficient. Love going there for lunch.

We were very impressed with our first visit to Laredo's! We visited for lunch and were seated promptly. The dining room is deceptively roomy despite being in a strip mall. The fresh chips & salsa were brought out right away and were quite tasty. To start I has a cup of black bean soup which was piping hot and delicious. My wife had the Ceviche Dorado which is Shrimp marinated with fresh lime juice, jalapenos, tomatoes, onions, avocado and cilantro. That was really good! For the main course I had Pollo Yucatan which features a grilled chicken breast topped with shrimp and Oaxaca cheese accompanied by fried rice and black beans. It was outstanding and cooked to perfection! My wife had the Fajitas en Molajete which is served on a hot lava stone featuring grilled steak, chicken breast & shrimp, Mexican cheeses, chile poblano, grilled red onions, roasted red peppers, sliced pineapple and lettuce, pico de gallo, sour cream, rice, pinto beans and tortillas on the side! Incredible! This was a memorable experience and we will be back often! This is on Higgins Road between Devon Avenue and River Road in a strip mall next to a Subway. It's on the South side of the street so look into the strip mall for their sign or you might drive by it!

From the outside this place doesn't look like it will be a great experience - but as soon as you walk in the door you can see that everyone is enjoying the freshly prepared authentic taste. Really enjoyed reading the story of the restaurant (that is becoming a mini chain in the local area) and particularly enjoyed the authentic fresh taste of quality ingredients well prepared.

Maria's Mexican Restaurant on Foster Ave, just west of River Rd, is only several blocks from Rosemont. The food is simply the best authentic Mexican food served "piping" hot,in the Rosemont area and perhaps any location in the Chicago area. If a dish is selected with cheese, the deliciousness of the cheese will remain as a delectable memory. The friendly and attentive wait staff are a plus. The prices are unbelievably reasonable. The decor is bold, bright and colorful. The walls are filled with vibrant artwork; a great place to dine for art enthusiasts! Cravings for the best authentic Mexican food in the Rosemont area lead me directly to Maria's. Enjoy!

Located in Terminal 1 on Concourse B in Chicago International Airport.
I liked the Tortilla Soup, which tasted quite different from the hundreds of examples I have had in Mexico, but was very good. The calabacita chilaquiles were just OK. The green sauce was a bit overpowering and the totopos were soggy.
