Love the food. For price the serving is huge. Can never finish the meal..best to share. Love the fresh chips and salsa. Steak and meat items are amazing. Server was not very attentive..We had made few substitutions with the beans but he forgot and had to remind him few times. For the price and quality can't go wrong. Great place for family get together and amazing view on a warm sunny day

Located on Ridge Road, it is easy to get to with lots of parking. The menu is the typical Mexican items. We started out with the Chile Con Queso, and i had the tamale dinner while my wife had the Taquitos, both were nice and served extremely hot. Prices are very reasonable, and atmosphere was good. We will return.

We stayed at the Best Western and the desk clerk gave us their menu. We ordered the baked chicken, a Quesadilla, burger and a Burrito. All were delivered promptly and hot. The price was very reasonable. Everyone enjoyed their food, especially the chicken. The menu certainly is varied so there is something for everyone. Great option for the traveler. Kudos for a job well done.

El Chico used to be my favorite restaurant but our family was very disappointed the last time we came here (4+ years ago) so we stopped coming. Today, my husband suggested we try again rather that driving to Mesquite. I am sooooo glad we did. The last time we were there we were the only customers but our food was cold and the service was bad. Today, we had about 20-30 SECONDS wait time to be seated. All of the wait staff were great, food was perfect and served at the perfect temperature. The manager circulated thru the restaurant stopping at all the tables. Our family will definitely be back.

Exceptionally good service and great tasting tacos at a very fair price - love this place. They also do large to go orders - my workplace has ordered from them....

When driving back home from San Antonio we usually stop at this excellent Mexican restaurant. The food and service are always excellent and the building immaculate. Yesterday I had the street tacos and my wife had Milos enchiladas. Both were outstanding and enjoyed. The chips and salsa were also great. Very friendly and efficient staff. We will keep on stopping here for lunch

Went in for lunch, my wife ordered the grilled avocadoâs. This is something she has eaten here several times in the past. Upon arrival at our table, the corn on top of the avocado was ice cold (still frozen). The person who brought out the food did not offer to take it back. Instead, he came back with an additional cup of corn, which we declined. The frozen corn was mixed in with all other ingredients. No offer to replace or refund was made. We dine here frequently, but after the lack of customer service given in this situation, we will go elsewhere in the future.

We arrived late but the staff provided top service. Everything came out fast and tasted wonderful. I wish they were closer to the resort but still within walking distance.
