We have enjoyed Willy's for years. My friends like their Mexican Buffet. But I enjoy the regular menu better. I find their authentic soft tacos, burritos, and enchiladas to be my favorites. They also have more exotic choices, but I stick with what I like. Their decor and atmosphere is fun and authentic and we have always had fast and accurate servers. It is worth a 30 mile drive for us to come here.
That's not why I'm rating it. I've been a customer there for several years, and every time I go it gets better and better. Everyone is polite and the orders are hot and accurate. So while the food is run-of-the-mill fast food, it makes a difference having that service there.
How to describe a restaurant that is genuinely Mexican however the food and menu are substandard in my opinion. The smell of heavy grease permeates your clothing as soon as you walk in and stays long after you leave. We were served a bowl of very spicy cut up peppers for an appetizer with no plates or utensils to eat with. My burrito was over $6 and it was very bland and tasteless. The waitress never asked if we liked our meal and didn't seem to care if we stayed or left. I would not go there again. It is a bad mark against good Mexican food.
Was traveling I88 and needed some grub on a Saturday night. Was looking for a steakhouse, but stubbled in here. Clean and very good service Looks like a fav of the locals. Many customers that had families in tow The Juanita special was real good! Menu has breakfast, lunch and dinner

We enjoyed our lunch at the restaurant--the food was very good and authentic, the prices were very low, the service good, the restaurant clean.BUT the best part is that you are able to buy Dave's coffee cakes there! We had heard of the cakes and were very disappointed to find that the bakery is closed on Saturday.I e-mailed to the address on the website and received a very nice fast response (turns out that it was from the owner of the bakery and te restaurant) that I could purchase them at the restaurant. Our server was even so nice that she offered to run to the bakery if we wanted different flavors!

We started with a natcho appetizer....really good! There are several choices of natchos to choose from. We had the basic taco meat and cheese. We both ordered huevos rancheros...I had delicious corn beef and my guy had chorizo sausage. So good it was hard to stop eating it even when I was full.
