We were there for the taco special and my husband ordered the 6 tacos of various kinds. I had to try the green chicken taco (spicy and flavorful, good price). I think this has the best value and taste for fast food-type mexican. I also had a side of the lime rice. Tasty and cheap.

Good food, fresh made and a good price in a clean restaurant. What more can be said. For a family, single or couple, this is a good spot for a quick bite.
Such a long wait, but totally worth it! Each item was delicious. Everyone in our party of 12 proclaimed it was the best, authentic, freshest, meal, ever! It was so good it even over shadowed the birthday celebration. The gracious staff was very attentive, always refilling the drinks and asking if we needed anything. We'll definitely return to Guadalajara Restaurant soon.
The food was delicious! Full of flavor. There is a lady in the back of the restaurant that is making fresh flour tortillas. They are wonderful. They are set up to do a buffet but they are not doing it anymore. Guess they were losing money on it. I canât wait to go back.

The most authentic Mexican eatery at the best prices in Red Bluff. It is a family run restaurant with not only real Mexican food and the service is friendly and great. All the dishes are worthy of a try. They are strong believers in family and take time off each December to connect with their relatives in Mexico. Their clientele waits for their return. This may not sound like much, but it in a small town like Red Bluff, where restaurants come and go at a rapid rate, this restaurant has a loyal clientele. I have been going ther for 20 years. The rating section didnât want to cooperate, but it gets a 5 for food, service, and value.

We had just come out of the mountains after a backpacking hike and were looking for some non-trail food. It was good overall, and average Mexican Restaurant and not a bad stop.

What is it that tipped you off? The location? Less than optimal. The menu? A little chaotic. The customers? Loggers, bikers, families. Carlitos' on a Sunday is certainly an interesting place, but the food is good, the menu is authentic and the servings are generous. You are greeted by a member of the family that runs Carlitos' and the service is attentive. The food is generally good, but uneven. The chili relleno quite good, the enchilada not as successful. The chalupa, on the other hand, very good indeed. Sides of rice and beans both very well executed, particularly the beans. For the new comer, the atmosphere of Carlitos' leaves much to be desired. Regulars, including children, on the other hand, did not seem in the least bit phased by the dark and somewhat forbidding interior of the restaurant.

I targeted Casa Ramos for lunch on my road trip down from Oregon since it was close to I5 and had excellent reviews. Warmly greeted when I entered, the service turned out to be outstanding during all phases of the meal. Chips, salsa and my drinks quickly appeared on the table. Coffe and water were replenished without having to ask. I ordered the excellent fish tacos, which were fresh and tasted. The beans appeared to be prepared fresh, not canned. All and all a great stop just a couple of minutes off the freeway.
