This restaurant didn't fail to impress after dining there on two separate occasions. While on the way to the beach we pit stopped on their large deck and boardwalk for traditional Uruguayan milanesa sandwiches. The front row seat to the ocean view, beach music and friendly server made for a great afternoon event and prompted our return for dinner. At night it transforms from a beachy hang out to a classy and cozy lounge restaurant. Upon entering, we were immediately greeted by a friendly server who welcomed us to sit wherever we wanted. We joined a long table of hostel guests and non-guests for conversation over glowing candlelight, warmed by the nearby fireplace. When the food arrived the conversation slowed as we enjoyed the absolutely delicious food, and lounge music in the background breaking our silence. Then, after it seemed things couldn't get any better, we experienced dessert. If there are two things you must do in Punta del Diablo, I recommend visiting this restaurant and asking for the banana panqueque for dessert!

We found this little gem in Punta del Diablo coming back from a walk to the lighthouse of the Viuda beach. The sunset from the terrace is amazing, and the food we tried was delicious, fresh and all homemade by the Italian guys that manage the kitchen. We started with the best bruschetta Toscana ever, the bread they bake is amazing! Then we had a eggplant parmigiana and Bondiola cooked in dark beer, both were really tasty and delicious! We had a long chat with the owner that was very helpful with the beer tasting and made our night unforgettable! They also had live music later on the night but we were too tired for the long beach day!Great job guys, best spot in Punta del Diablo!
