At our artisanal kitchen, the essential flavors are turned into new forms that keep their roots in the ancestral Mexico, with the best possible that our land can provide us. This is Entre Tierras, a place where the farmers can bring their produce, because
Came to this restaurant because I had heard about the dishes with HUITLACOCHE which I really wanted to try.Arrived at 6:15pm and sadly, much like most restaurants in Puebla these days, the beautiful dinning rooms were without patrons. Do not take this as a sign of a problem with the restaurants; it is a sign of the Mexican economy, fear of travel to Mexico and results of the current US Presidentâs actions. In any event, there are two dinning rooms, the first one is less formal and only had tables for 5 or more, but has a beautiful carved wood alter and is inviting. We chose to go ahead and sit at large table in the informal dinners area. Wait staff was attentive and while I was attempting to improve my Spanish, I did ask for an English menu and the had them. Also the staff were happy to explain ingredients we had not heard of such as an edible semi-succulent leaf that accompanied 2 of my 3 dishes. The meal started with an amuse-bouche of the day, which was like tiny empanada. We requested margaritas mas fuerte and were happy we did. The next dish we both order was the both beautiful and tasty Tayuda Itsmeña. This dish is substantial enough to constitute a whole meal! My second dish was the salmon tartar which was delicious and equally beautiful. The salmon flavor was a bit overpowered, but I loved the sweet flavors of the mango sauce and passion fruit intertwined with the raw red onions and cabbage strips. For mains I had the chicken breast and my friends dined on the filet fillet mignon both dishes had HUITLACOCHE as an ingredient and both were delicious! The deserts were very interesting. My dinner companion enjoyed a sponge cake made with special leaves that was presented with crystalized parsley and arranged to look like trees in a terrarium. As for price, this is the most expensive restaurant I have been to in my week of dining in Puebla, however my (1person) total bill for 3 courses, a margarita and a still-water was $26.50 which is less than a main course alone in a less nice restaurant in California. If you want a fine dinner or are a foodie this is your place. Good evening DreamytravelforlifeIn our Mexican artisanal proposal, we have a wide variety of recipes for discerning tastes, we invite you to discover the flavors of Mexico prepared in our way.We hope you visit us soon! We decided to create a restaurant that preserves flavors and traditions. A place that wouldnât be âtrendyâ but for life. We respected the 1920s additions to the 16th- century San Miguel La Noria hacienda, and now enjoy our contemporary traditional style c
Went here for a business lunch and the food and service was fantastic. I experienced authentic food and had a wonderful lunch. Very attentive staff and helpful too. The grilled tuna was beautiful as was the tortilla and tacos.

Contemporary regional food.
We had high hopes based on Tripadvisor and maybe our palette isn't in sync but we found the dishes we tried mostly lacking something essential - except the portobello mushroom burger and salads, which were delicious. The chopped steak burger was very tough and the risotto and chicken was. Truly off balance. The risotto was too salty and the chicken, bland. For starters, the tempura greens had little taste except for the friedness, and the corn soup was too savory. Again, it could be our palettes aren't oriented to the salty and savory flavors that infuse the dishes. Also the prices are about 2x what we've paid so far in Mexico so we didn't feel it was a value. The staff is incredibly friendly so we really hoped it would be a wonderful meal. Hopefully it was an off day.

This is a very nice restaurant close to the beautiful Zocalo in Puebla. The service was fairly good, I liked that they provided you with a drink as you waited for your table. The agua de tamarindo was superb. We only had to wait 2 minutes in any case. The restaurant is very nicely laid out, and service verging on 'white glove'. I had the three enchiladas with a different type of mole on each, a good way to sample them. I'll say they were all very good, though to my taste, the mole poblano wins. The salsas were absolutely excellent as well. My Mom had their tacos arabe, and I can say these were delicious.Dear Rusin Chris,Thanks very much for visiting Puebla and El Mural de los Poblanos. We appreciate your so nice review!Hope to see you again soon.Cheers!

El Anafre Rojo se puede definir como una propuesta gastronómica sencilla y auténtica, un lugar lleno de texturas, de juego de luces... De materiales contemporáneos pero que al mismo tiempo nos transportan a los orÃgenes de nuestro paÃs. Nuestra propuesta
At the hotel where I stayed, they recommended this restaurant, but it turned out to be a bad experience. The place was full of local visitors of the neighborhood. The restaurant decoration regular, without much detail. I visited it for breakfast. Cheap prices, between $4 and $7 per breakfast plate. I did not like what I ordered. I tried some eggs in green sauce and pepitoria ingredient, which I felt was very loaded and the mixture of ingredients was not good. The quality of ingredients was not very good as well as the outcome taste of the dish. I do not recommend it.

Bistro 702 is a cuisine restaurant specializing in Swiss-French food and in contemporary Mexican breakfasts, specially designed for the most demanding palates. Breakfasts, lunches, dinners and an original and unique menu makes Bistro 702 the perfect place
Let me preface this by saying I really wanted to love this restaurant. The concept of a student led spot, run by the cooking school next door, really appealed to me and itâs a great way to support them. We werenât expecting great service (it was a bit slow and unorganized). The menu was all over the place (salads, pastas, fondues, meats/fish), which is understandable considering they want to exposure the students to all cuisines. But sadly, none of them were prepared well. It is a nice ambience with an visible kitchen.... wish I could say something better. Hello!Thank you very much for your opinion, we appreciate it. We are sorry to hear that your experience wasnât what you expected but we take into account your comments and will work on it to make it better. We hope youâll give us another chance and visit us again in the future, hopefully weâll be able to change your mind and surprise you greatly.Kind regards.

Mexican cuisine is within the top global offerings given its taste, variety and originality of its dishes and taste combinations. Within the Mexican cuisine there is a special chapter for âcomida poblanaâ or Pueblan cuisine, that very likely sits at the top. Having said this, Casa Barroca is probably nowadays one of the best, if not the best place in Puebla... Need to say more?Food is prepared with primer ingredients, carefully curated recipes, and served with high level of attention to details, like the little packages of butter made of corn natural wrapping, as if they were little tamales. We had the enchiladas and the Chile en Nogada and they were fantastic. Food portions are a bit bigger than what I expected, and flavor was heavenly in all instances. To top everything, the building itself, in a centuries old house, is outstanding. I recommend making a telephone reservation, although you may easily find a place if it is not a weekend. Do go. Enjoy!I canât wait to bring my wife to this place.

Third time we stop by here in season for Chiles in Nogada (A dish, traditionally served at room temperature with cold cream sauce, from Mexican cuisine. The name comes from the Spanish word for the nut tree, nogal.[1] It consists of poblano chilis filled with picadillo (a mixture usually containing shredded meat, aromatics, fruits and spices) topped with a walnut-based cream sauce, called nogada, and pomegranate seeds, giving it the three colors of the Mexican flag: green from the chili, white from the nut sauce and red from the pomegranate. The walnut used to prepare nogada is a cultivar called Nogal de Castilla or Castillan walnut) and they did not disappointed us.Make sure u make a reservation way ahead of time.As a starter have chalupitas poblanas.Be cautious, chiles are a heavy dish.No dessert or dinner after this! Cannot wait to comeback next year.Highly recommended.
Restaurant located inside the hotel Grand Fiesta Americana Puebla, its essence is based on the tradition of Puebla's cuisine. It offers the duality of two personalities. In one hand by Chef José Lazcarro's freshness, and on the other by Chef Ricardo Muñoz
