I was in the parking lot and chose to eat here. Plenty of parking available so that was good. I ordered my food....for which there was plenty of in my combo meal. I checked for a table just for me. There were plenty of them open but I had to try three or four different ones as they had not been wiped down after the last diners left. Some of them had food remnants still on them and lots of pieces of food on the floors. The food was ready quickly and it was pretty good. Nice place to eat. Just may need to try a little harder keeping it clean. Maybe they were short staffed today. The couple of employees I had contact with were very nice.
Our family loves the fresh and healthy food at Chipotle. We are always satisfied with what we get because we get to choose every delicious ingredient! Also, the service is quick. You can be in and out in 5 minutes with a to go order or to dine in. We like the option to eat inside or on the patio depending on the weather. My favorite is the grilled chicken salad bowl. My husband likes an assortment of street tacos. Our son's pick is the bean and cheese burrito. It's all good!
A terrific place for Mexican food. We had Carne Asada Tacos and a Chimichanga, both outstanding, with beautiful flavors, large tacos, homemade shells, delicious. The next day we had rolled tacos with guac on top, very yummy. It's in the Target shopping center off of Community. We'll go again and again...
Poway Food Guide: 10 Must-Eat Restaurants & Street Food Stalls in Poway
Right on Poway road has drive through. It has changed names over the years but the excellent food remains the same. I usually only bought the cani-asada burritos which are the best juicy w tomatoes and guacamole. I then tried a chili relleno with beans and rice. Was pleasantly surprised how great it was served with sauce and guacamole. The spicy fresh carrots are very reasonable in a fair size in a plastic baggie. Very fast service Great for people to pick up coming from work. They do have couple of tables if you prefer to eat there. Prices are reasonable
So Cal Mexican food is very consistent from restaurant to restaurant. If a grade of B is common (I like most), it is rare to find a place that pushes up to an A, or droops to a C. After a number of meals here, a C is the most common result. Sometimes too spicy. Sometime not hot. Average flavor or worse. Iâll eat here again for convenience, but go elsewhere if there is an option.
Where to eat Japanese food in Poway: The Best Restaurants and Bars
This is a small neighborhood Mexican take out place located in a strip shopping center. They can be a bit slow in preparing your order, but the food has been consistently good and the servings are not skimpy. I love cheese enchiladas and tostados and have not been disappointed. Others in our family have enjoyed the chili rellanos, taquitos and nachos.

Mexicocina Restaurant & Tequileria has been serving authentic Mexican food to Poway patrons since 1978. We are a proud member of the Poway Chamber of Commerce. Enjoy Mexican comfort food with your family and friends any day of the week.
Well.....we had given up on Mexicocina after years of patronage. The former owner who bought from the original owner ran it the place downhill. We saw they had a new owner as of October 1st. Gave it a try tonight. Attentive and friendly service. Our tacos and margaritas were really good. I say give it a try again.

We are always looking for a casual, local Mexican restaurant that serves good food and has a decent Margarita. Reneâs fit the bill! The ambiance is just right- Mexican decor and cozy. The menu is extensive- something for everyone. Plenty of seating in the dining area and a small bar in the corner with a sports channel playing. Margaritas come small and large with a decent pour of tequila. Our food was quite good, including the complementary chips and salsa. Weâll be back!

Granted that we chose Cinco de Mayo for our first visit, but we did arrive past the dinner rush. The place was still very busy. The first omen was that their front sign wasn't even lit up, so only locals would find it easily. We ordered 2 Cadillac margaritas at the bar, while waiting for our table; they were very good. The service was terrible, despite there being several waiters. After being seated, we waited a long time to be approached. The chips were cold and chewy; the salsa was uninspiring. We asked for some pick de gallo, it never came. One of our entrees was served without the needed corn tortillas that were part of the entree. The carne asada plate was not memorable. The carne asada burrito was soggy on the bottom, so I couldn't pick it up (used a fork and knife---no sauces on top). There are too many other quality Mexican restaurants in San Diego, so we will not return here.
