We really liked this place the food was really good. The Chilie verde nachos had a lot of flavor. They were wonderful. The tacos were very good and the hamburgers were very tasty. We will be back.
We enjoyed sitting outside and drinking a few beers. It was Friday and they had Caldo de rez. Beef vegetable soup served with rice and tortillas. The tacos and enchiladas were also very good. Highly recommend.
So glad we finally got Del Taco here....Since it's opened, it's been swamped, but employees are maintaining their pace and the management has been fantastic...Wouldn't surprise me if one of the Taco Bell's in town will be closing, now with this great competition. Parking is a hassle, tho....
Find your nearby Taco Bell at 450 W Olive Ave. in Porterville. We're serving all your favorite menu items, from classic burritos and tacos, to new favorites like the $5 Double Stacked Tacos Box, Crunchwrap Supreme, Fiesta Taco Salad, and Chalupa Supreme.
Food is tasty good , fast service , atmosphere all good. This store is right across from high school so at lunch time during lunch time , when school is in session, it may be full.
Very limited menu consisting of tacos, tortas, burritos, quesadillas, nachos, and fries. They offer free grilled onions and grilled jalapenos with your order. Really is good for bar food, and take out, but not designed as a "dine in" place. Hopefully, they will eventually expand their menu. Much better option than the usual fast food Mexi type places...
It's been a long time since I've been here, but stopped in and tried fish taco's for $1.50 each. Two of them filled me up. Surprised by the large size of the fish fillet on them. They no longer have charro beans which I liked. I'll come back, definitely for fish tacos

On Saturdays about once a month our small group of ladies stops in for lunch. My favorite item is the chili verde burrito. It's about $5 and I frequently have to take some home. I forgot to mention that you wait in line to order, get your drink, find a seat, your order is typically ready within 5 minutes unless it's packed it might take 10. The salsa bar sometimes looks a bit messy but seems clean. I have gotten a bone in my chicken or pork before so be aware that this can happen. The carnitas tacos are another favorite. Basically you decide on a meat and then if you want it in a taco, tort a, burrito, etc. this is one of the few mainstay restaurants in town. It's always the same, seems to be run by family.

Can't complain too much. One of the most popular Mexican restaurants in town. It's Americanized Mexican food, if you like your enchilada sauce on the sweet side you will love this place. The chips and salsa are good and people often order from here for events because it's consistent and you know what to expect. It's always busy no matter what time you go. The drinks are standard what you would get at other restaurants. Beer, margaritas and Micheladas. They can accommodate large groups, just call ahead of time. They don't stay open very late so it's more of a family restaurant versus hang out bar type of place. The prices can be on the higher side. But you do get a decent size portion. To go orders are usually done within 10-15 minutes. Staff sing special birthday song in Spanish if you ask.
