We stopped in here to try some things after we saw the really good reviews they have on the Internet. I walked in an wasn't sure what to do. Thankfully a lady was taking a tray an loading the items on that, so that's what I did. Not sure what I was buying as nothing was labeled. Most of it was really good. Nothing was bad but still not sure what some of it was. Next time hopefully it won't be busy so I can get someone to help me. I will go back. Prices are reasonable too.

Great spot for lunch w/ coworkers, and I often get dinner orders to-go so I don't have to cook. Authentic mexican, tastes delicious, and large portions.

Friends recommended El Maguey, specifically their Camarones a la Diabla. I absolutely loved this super spicy shrimp entree and have had it practically every time I went there. It was always great except for twice when I think their chef was away on vacation/sick leave or some thing along those lines. As other reviews have mentioned this is a "hole in the wall' restaurant with very good food. On a recent visit, I also had Octopus Tostadas. They tasted fabulous, my only gripe being the octopus was a little over done. They start you out with chips and three types of salsa. My favorite is their salsa verde. They also serve good Micheladas - beer with lemon juice, spices and clamato sauce.

I have been going to the Chili bowl for 30 years and have never found a better coney anywhere. They have been making it happen for over 60 years, it is a basic diner style coney joint with excellent food. The breakfast is great, the lunch sandwiches are great, hamburgers all beef made fresh, no fryer only hash browns fresh made everyday.I personally love the chili loose burger, made fresh for every order.

This is a lovely brewery. It's in an old building well resorted and comfortable with both tables and chairs and a number of couches. They have N64 and SNES video consoles set up with a number of games for each and free wifi. For food they have mainly sliders and small bites but the food is good and of course the beer which you're likely here for you'll be happy to know is really good and they have excellent selections. I'll gladly come back as soon as I can.

They have been in business for nearly 3 years, took over an old applebees building. Very good Mexican food, great service, and one of our favorite local mexican restaurants.

I visited this restaurant recently around 3:30 PM (late lunch/early dinner) during a business trip. The restaurant was almost totally empty (one table with diners, one loud, rude older guy sitting at the bar on his cell phone, swearing quite a bit). I was seated fairly quickly, and my order was taken. I was given chips and salsa, and my daiquiri came promptly. The food even came quickly (empty restaurant, and all) but the food looks like it was just slopped onto the plate ( as you can see in my photo I attached)...no presentation used. The food tasted very average...nothing to write home about (Vegetarian combination #4...spinach burrito, potato enchilada, mushroom quesadilla...quesadilla being the best thing on my plate). The enchilada was pretty awful, I couldn't finish it. During my meal, no one checked on me to see how my meal was. After I was done eating, I waited...and waited...probably 15 minutes at least. There was a bartender and waiter having a very interesting conversation...so interesting, that they did not pay any attention to me. I never saw my waiter again. I finally go up to the bartender and ask for my check, and she rings me up. Yep, I definitely won't return.

Friend & i were directed by sm1 @ Bordines that this was a better place to eat as opposed to a place we were thinking of going to.Prices weren't bad-around $7.99 for lunch + drink = $8.47.Friend had ok taco's nothing special and I had the chimichanga (chicken) which was so so as well.Wait staff good. Food came out fast. At 1130 people started poring in! It was packed when we left--surprising as the menu is extremely limited and food to our tastes mediocre but, not bad. Area a little icky/closed up places & some inebriated folks approaching cars driving back down Baldwin?
