Ordered the chicken soup with "vegetables " and got plain shredded chicken in a plain water with 1/4 of a carrot. I Did not even eat it. My daughter ordered enchiladas and she was actually enjoying them until she got to the rice. There was a melted plastic gel substance under her rice. I called on of the cooks and him what that was. He just starred at it and said "I don't know, do you want another side to go" he took her plate and never came back. There was Noone around the restaurant. We walked out left the food there.

Wanted to give them minus 5 stars after yesterday's visit... We have been here three times prior and the food and service were good. But yesterday (Sept 23, 2018/ lunchtime) was UNFORGIVABLE if not ILLEGAL... First we explicitly told the waitress "Maggie" five times that we do not touch alcohol so please get us ONE VIRGIN Mojito and ONE VIRGIN Margarita... the word Virgin was repeated five times and she actually went back to check with the bartender that could make both VIRGIN... First the appetizer came, and that was "Guacamole"...BUT first time we ever saw cheese grated ALL OVER the guacamole... since my daughter is dairy allergic we removed the cheese as much as we could and sort of braved it on... then the drinks came and though one seemed VIRGIN, the other my my very younf daughter got was 60% alcohol... she got a weird buzz.... we called Maggie and she shook her head sadly then disappeared with both the drinks to the bartender inside (we are seated outside)... she totally chickened out after that and never came back to our table to apologize and try to make us feel better... no sign! Then a preppy looking long faced waiter appeared and we were trying to order "tacos with no meat"... instead of just acceding to that he gets into a long argument almost ridiculing vegetarians, saying "we only have TWO dishes for vegetarians".... but if you wan any ingredient removed in the taco, please point to it... "all ingredients are written in the menu" ... we reminded him that the guacamole never listed cheese but we got loads of cheese and we are trying to make sure... but he stands there cockily repeating "well guacamole always has cheese on it here and so we don't have to write it"... but "for the tacos you have to point explicitly to the listed ingredients and tell me which one you want removed, just saying no meat is not enough at our restaurant...." what a jerk... all three of us had never seen a guy or service like this in 20 years in USA... we asked for another server but that took time too... so we called for the check in UTTER DISGUST... no manager ever showed up to apologize for putting alcohol in a drink served to a minor, putting unwelcome cheese in guacamole, the least they could have done is apologize and put the $x margarita and/or the appetizer on the house to earn goodwill after a series of TERRIBLE mistakes... WE CERTAINLY AIN'T EVER GOING BACK

I like Chili's food -- well done menu, tasty food. But, in general, staff training is poor. Certainly this was true for the Pleasanton location. Our waiter was friendly and attentive -- top marks in this area. But, when we were seated, they had to clear a table for us. Literally all the tables around us required clearing. It looked as though there had been a food fight in the area where we were seated -- napkins and food on the floor, tables askew -- a real mess. Of course this was a serious put-off for us, we went ahead and ordered. Eventually the messy tables were cleared, but no one made much of an effort. Then two members of staff dragged chairs across the tile floor to do some re-arranging. The noise was awful -- one of those chilling, screetching sounds. One wonders how anyone could do this in the presence of clients. One of my daughters wanted to leave because of the horrible sound.I hope someone from Chilis reads this. Good food alone is not enough to bring me back. Better training is a must.
Not your typical Mexican food, not traditional, but as delicious... it is fresh, organic and very good for you. COME DINE IN WITH YOUR FRIENDS/FAMILY and with a smile Will One will take $10. off your total bill of $70. or more just ask your server.
Our new favorite place to eat in Pleasanton! The watermelon and feta salad with blackened salmon is my "go to" dish here. It is just beautiful and also comes with a wonderful variety of flavors from the mango, edamame beans and mixed greens. Order the super hot creamy sauce for a kick up in flavor. My husband loves the steak salad with special yams and what he says is the best salad dressing he has ever had. Don't go for the wine...very limited but I do like the white one just fine. They have one IPA for beer drinkers. We like to sit outside in the fresh air and have always been treated like royalty there by the owners. The original menu was our favorite but they changed it to accommodate those who wanted "traditional" Mexican items. I prefer the fresh and imaginative dishes they started with. The chef owner is very talented and a master with fresh flavors. We eat here once a week and are never disappointed. Try it! hello Wild One grill thanks you very much for your kind review, chef Leo will make your favorites âwheneverâ possible, we have added a larger selection of red and white wines to be enjoyed with each meal. looking forward to serving you anytime.Thank you. My daughter and I went to Two Amigos at the busy lunch hour. Luckily a table opened up before we got our meals. You order at the counter and then your food is brought out to you. The man at the counter spoke very quickly and I was, I guess, too slow coming up with my taco choice so he told me that he was giving me the al pastor and the Colorado chili. Okay. I am cool with that. Daughter orders Super Nachoes. We got some chips and salsa and sat down to wait for our stuff. The chips are thick and unsalted and the salsa was also very unsalted. My order of the two taco lunch special came with rice and refried beans. Both the beans and the rice were very bland and unsalted. The tacos were okay although sort of wet and hard to eat. Maybe not what I would have ordered if I had had the chance. I just found everything surprisingly bland.

If you come here, bring cash if you are not buying a fair amount of food as there is a credit card fee for purchases under a particular amount (something like $12). Food and complementary salsa are both pretty good. Although the prices seem a tad high when comparing them to similar restaurants. Restaurant itself is quaint and has some classic pinball style games and sticker dispensers. Seems like a good family stop.

This is our second time coming here. Read all the reviews stating the service was bad and at our last visit that was true, however this time it was lightning fast. Friendly helpful server and other staff. The food is very good and the prices are reasonable.

I understand restaurants can have off-nights, get busy and have staffing problems if one or two staff are absent for their shifts. My partner and I were celebrating our birthdays, and wanted to eat some decent Mexican food so we went there on Saturday 4/27. Both of us had individually been there for lunch, covered by our employers, but we hadn't been there for dinner service. We'd seen they had a very tasty sounding ceviche on the menu, so I thought I would try that.Previous experiences were very good. Good food, good service.Last night was a disappointment. First, they ran out of ceviche. Strike 1.They had some tortilla chips & salsa to munch on while looking over the menu. The salsas were good and varying heat level. The hottest salsa was very good, but I've had hotter salsa from a jar at the supermarket, but OK, that's just snacking food and I can forgive them.I took my time looking over the mixed drink menu and the server came by to ask if we were ready to order. As I had not yet made up my mind I asked for another 1-2 minutes.20 minutes later he came back, even though I caught his eye a few times to indicate a readiness to order that he ignored. The table to my right had been waiting 30 minutes to order food, were seated before us, and ultimately he took our order before the couple who'd waited longer. They were miffed, but took it in stride.I skipped the mixed drink, and tried to order ceviche. They were out. So, I ordered the Sopa de Tortilla for starter and the Enchilladas del Mar while my partner skipped the starter and went for the Mole Poblano.Delivery was quick. The Sopa de Tortilla came first, and it was very good. Very flavorful and served near the right temp for eating. Very good, so that was a win.My main course came before I was finished with the sopa, and with small tables and the large size of the plate dinner then felt a little cramped for space. The main course, which I was expecting something more of, was fairly bland overall. Not spiced or savory as I was expecting from eating Mexican food in Mexico before. The shrimp in one of the two enchilladas was luke warm, as was the "crab" in the other. The shrimp was tasteless, I couldn't even be sure I was eating shrimp until I looked at it. Very very small shrimps in the enchillada and they had almost no flavor. The crab in the other had no flavor of it's own. I know crab is a light tasting meat - I've had king crab legs before in Seattle and elsewhere, but they usually have a pleasing taste. This had no taste, and had a texture similar to eating shredded triscuit wafers without flavor - very dry even though it was in a sauce. The enchillada sauce was a 3 out of 10 on flavor.I've had mole before, and the chicken is usually tender and moist. I tried some of my spouse's mole and, while better than my dish by far, the chicken was a bit tough and dry. At least it had way more flavor than my meal. Our bill + 10.00 tip was about 80.00, and we discussed it this morning. Neither of us felt as though we got value for our money. We won't be bothered going back.On the plus side, though service was slow, it was courteous, so full marks for that.
